"Why We Are Not Drinking Tea And Eating Crumpets"

Colonel Johann Rall a Hessian-German Commander and Britain ally was busy entertaining his guest and eating his Christmas feast when a soldier interrupted the festivities to deliver him a note... He pompously placed it in his pocket unread and continued wining and celebrating... During the night while everyone slept... George Washington and his battered army invaded... Awakened by the ruckus, Johann Rall raced to his horse to alert his men... Unfortunately for him he was shot dead... After the patriots defeated the Hessians... They eventually found Colonel Johann Rall lying lifelessly in the snow and the note warning of this eminent attack was still lingering in his pocket un-opened... You see sometimes the experienced drop the ball... For no other reason than their growing belief that they are infallible...

I trust That Senator Obama would have took a moment to read the note... Because he's a man who is keeping his eye on the all... And the so-called experienced?... I'm not entirely sure... because sometimes years of experience can equate to a false sense of security... Just ask Colonel Johann Rall.. By the way this event was called "The Battle Of Trenton"... you know, when George Washington crossed the Delaware... Just think... If the Hessian Colonel wasn't asleep at the wheel...

We'd probably be singing

"God Save The Queen"...

  Instead of "God Bless America!"
