Don't know how many of you folks have heard
about my new web site called genniferandpaula.com?
Well, it's been an interesting experience in
many ways. I recently called Paula Jones after the two of us did a
TV show remote from our perspective cities. Her's Little Rock,
Arkansas and mine, of course, Las Vegas, Nevada.
The question was asked during the telecast if
Paula and I had ever met and we both said unfortunately, no. After
I left the studio, I thought about how unbelievable it was that
after almost 20 years since the Clinton "thing" happened, Paula
Jones and I had never met nor talked by telephone. It was my
pleasure to change that fact.
I called Paula and was so pleased to meet her
by phone and like two kids in a candy store, we began to chatter
about our experiences and compare notes.
Although, we both had very different encounters
with Bill Clinton, we found that the aftermath of coming forth and
telling the truth was very similar and had changed our lives in some
identical ways.
Because Paula felt that she very seldom was
able to tell her story (besides in an affidavit) in her own words
and because I thoroughly enjoyed chatting with her about our
"stuff".. we decided to do a web site together in which we do both
girl chat and fact telling.
The web site could be likened to men sitting in
a locker room telling stories and spinning yarns. WHAT FUN AND HOW
LIBERATING TO BE ABLE TO SAY IT LIKE IT HAPPENED AND TELL IT LIKE IT
IS AND WAS!!!
I eventually met Paula in person and find her
to be a nice gal from Arkansas that was at the wrong place at the
wrong time. She and I have met in person and I am one of her
biggest fans!
We have both managed to survive a horrific
experience. She is married with three children (the youngest being
4 years old.. ugh!) and is living back in Arkansas to be close to
family. She pounds the beat daily trying to make some money in the
real estate business. My hat is off to Ms. Paula Jones. You go
girl!!
