There are moments in life that are just so perfect that we wish they would stay that way forever. But people change and life moves on, as it should. Yesterday's gone and today is all we have. You can read that as is all, or is ALL.

Every morning our soul returns from its journey to the source and re-enters our body. We are reborn, given another chance to get it right, to pick up the pieces and to move forward with love and warmth and excitement. The best is always yet to come.

Today, discover what's so special about right now . Find those moments that have yet to be born and open your mind to allow the possibility for them to be born.

My father and teacher Rav Berg, and the lineage of kabbalists he descends from, have been providing the solution to war for thousands of years:

Replace hatred for no reason with love for no reason.

The kabbalists speak of this beast inside called sinat chinam (hatred for no reason). What does it mean? Why would one want to hate another for no reason? If someone caused damage or loss or distress to someone else, then clearly one may understand the distressed person's reaction. But to hate someone for no reason, why should this happen?

Today, pay attention to how often this beast growls inside of you. If enough of us put the reigns on our hatred for no reason, imagine what a beautiful world this could be.

In speaking with someone, how do you know if you are speaking from your ego or your soul?

Intention. What is in your consciousness - are you thinking to give or take? Is your mind calculating ways to hurt or get something from the person, or are you in the flow of the moment and thinking about how you can help and share with the person in front of you?

Check in today. When you are negotiating with colleagues, making dinner plans with your girlfriend, or just paying for your frappacino, check in and see where your head is at. Be honest and check in with your true intention to determine who's talking - your soul or your ego.

I didn't mean to hurt you. Honest, I didn't. Can you forgive me?

Forgiveness is much needed in this life. If not for others' sake, than for our own. Holding onto grudges and anger is deadly, not just physically, but spiritually. It blocks our connection to the Lightforce. Remember, we want to be imitating the attributes of the Creator in order to connect. The Creator forgives us every day for the silly things we do to others and ourselves. Why is it so hard to extend that forgiveness to other people?

I guess I know the answer to that. I've held grudges before, shut myself down, stuffed my emotions. But sooner or later it blew up and I only felt worse, and less connected.

Beneath all the garbage, we are all good inside. It's only our ego and our behavior that are less than choice. One of our human weaknesses is we can't differentiate the person from the behavior.

Today, take time to talk to your friends and lovers and let them know what's going on inside. Communication is everything. Letting it well up inside isn't healthy. We become stagnant, stale, sad — and we run the risk of throwing it all away. Express what you're feeling, listen to what someone else is feeling, and forgive. Remember the love. Forgive the nonsense. We are all perfectly imperfect. Forgive.
