NEW ROMANCE FOR MINDFREAK MAGICIAN JUST MIGHT CONJURE UP MARRIAGE!

Its no longer a secret that Mindfreak magician Criss Angel has begun dating 24-year-old knockout new mom Giselle Diaz and his romantic fling with former Miss Nevada beauty queen Veronica Grabowski is totally over. Giselle, well known on the Vegas nightclub scene, lives with a prominent Light Group executive, manager and DJ who is said to be the father of their 4-month-old child! This particular high-speed whirlwind soap opera is no surprise in our wacky world and credit goes to Michael Politz as we reported for first breaking the news. But what is now really raising eyebrows is that Giselle has text and IM’d her girlfriends saying that she and Criss have already talked about a wedding on their upcoming Cabo San Lucas, Mexican honeymoon-styled vacation. I’m reliably told that a former girlfriend of 63-year-old Governor Jim Gibbons is at the heart of his current divorce case with attractive wife of 22 years, Dawn Gibbons. Allegedly they were more than friends years ago, but broke up when both went off to marry others. However, a while back the gal pal got a divorce and our studly Governor found time to both IM and text her.

What do you know? One text led to another and one IM to yet more and Mrs. Gibbons was none too pleased about the apparent escalating affair that progressed from the keypad to another. Two of the trio are trying to keep it all under wraps with the judge’s secrecy gag-order but the other is privately hoping that the drumbeats of wicked whispers and racy rumors get loud enough to go into VOICEMAIL!

For the moment the 54-year-old First Lady is fighting an eviction order to exit the 23-room State Mansion and return to the four-bedroom family home 25 miles away, which the Governor will vacate so he can live, work and play as the bachelor Governor in his official Residence!

If you were a Hollywood scriptwriter you couldn’t dream this stuff up! Truth is better and stranger than fiction.

SOPRANOS STAR LEADS STARCHEF INVASION FOR BON APPETIT’S EPICUREAN EXTRAVAGANZA

Sopranos actress Lorraine Bracco plays celebrity host with Bon Appetit restaurant editor Andrew Knowlton at the first of the magazine’s Masters’ Series dinners in Rao’s at Caesars Palace this evening, chef-owner Carla and Frank Pellegrino welcome guests to a multi-course dining adventure.

It’s the kick-off night of a four-day epicurean extravaganza sponsored by the prestigious food magazine.

Other Masters Series dinners being held tonight at Caesars include famed four-star chef Guy Savoy hosting at his self-named restaurant with chief editor, Barbra Fairchild. Bradley and Bryan Ogden host with famed food writer Alan Roichman at their restaurant, famous Iron Chef winner, Cat Cora presents hot flavors of the Southwest at fellow Food Network star Bobby Flay’s Mesa Grill and chef-owner Francois Payard is joined by James Beard award winning author Dorie Greenspan at his bistro patisserie.

Tomorrow (FRI) at the Stripfront Caesars Roman Plaza, owners and chefs from more than 50 top-rated Vegas restaurants offer the Grand Tasting, a sip and stroll culinary tour-de-force. Simultaneously five incredible chefs will serve up five incredible courses in a Bellagio gala. Manning the kitchen there will be Julian Serrano from Picasso, Todd English of Olives, Jean-Georges Vongerichten of Prime, famed starchef Michael Mina and desserts by Jean-Philippe Maury.

Among the four days of celebrity chefs will be chairman Wolfgang Puck, Daniel Boulud, Paul Bartolotta, David Burke, Hubert Keller, Mary Sue Milliken & Susan Feniger, Martin Heirling, Joel Robuchon, Rick Moonen, Alex Stratta, Kerry Simon and David Walzog. They had all posed for a souvenir photo under the Vegas Strip sign when they first announced the four days of feasting.

On both Friday and Saturday there will be culinary pro-am cook-offs (think a very fast version of Iron Chef) between the masters and the rookies. Lorraine Bracco and Spamalot star John O’Hurley will serve as honorary sous chefs. Its not all sizzling stove sessions for the culinary stars, there are two-midnight poker and blackjack tournaments tonight and tomorrow poolside at the Hard Rock starting at 11 p.m.

Five celebrity Wynn restaurants will play host to a Star Chef luncheon series on Saturday and then Sunday it all wraps up with the Mothers Day brunch that chef Rene Lengher is serving up at the Wynn Country Club. Hollywood stars should be out in full force for the upcoming June 12-21 10th annual CineVegas Film Festival. Dennis Hopper will serve as honorary chairman again with Trevor Groth as Artistic Director headquartered at Brendan Theaters in the Palms. Trevor has just set director Peter Cattaneo’s The Rocker film starring Christina Applegate, Jason Sudeikis and Emma Stone for the opening night screening and Sean McGinley’s The Great Buck Howard with John Malkovich, Emily Blunt, Tom Hanks and brother Colin Hanks as the closing night attraction.
