What's Going On
The photos of the soldiers around boxes and the photo of children are during a goodwill mission where we visited a school and gave all the kids back packs, school supplies, clothing, and toys. The items came from donations from folks back home in Vegas and all over the states.

On a day of one of our memorials a lot of boxes filled with girl scout cookies and whole bean coffee arrived for me to distribute among the soldiers. The coffee was donated by several different Starbucks Coffee Shops in the Las Vegas area and we would like to thank them. The Girl Scout cookies came from Ms. Dorothy Fusco sending them in the name of an effort called "Defending Freedom".
I took a huge box of the coffee and Girl Scout cookies over to that company as they were having "soldier's time" passing a football, mourning in their own way, the life of their lost comrade.

Next time I’ll tell you about a Talent show we had. Tobie Keith was on that same stage we performed on during his tour to perform for the troops. The troops absolutely loved him. He is very brave to come here and all the places he has stopped to see the troops and wish them the best. A lot of performers will seek out Afghanistan. I only hope that one day I can get close enough to thank one of them.
