Well....at least The Tout and I tied for the results last
week with The Mouth sporting a two outta three.
Casey, well, I STILL think you're the best prognosticator
ever...it's just that those darn teams didn't cooperate with
your thoughtful predictions of their performance... that's
what I'm thinking happened this year with me too, seeing the
potential of the team.
My Christmas Eve lasagna was perfect and Santa brought me a
gift certificate for a massage at my favorite strip
spa. I'll be taking advantage of the whirlpools, steam room,
massage, body scrub and a nap in the quiet room as a
cleansing ritual to purge a relatively crappy 2008 (I DID
predict that 2008 would be a huge year of changes). Let's
just say that flushing away THIS year isn't a bad thing!
Colts +3 over the Titans
Jaguars +12˝
over the Ravens
Giants +6˝
over the Vikings

the season isn't over yet? The Beauties' season was over
almost as soon as it started. Mona, I let you down, but
let's go out in a blaze of glory!!
Minnesota -6˝ versus NY Giants
The Vikes need this one, the Giants don't. Period. If it
was last year, I'd go all-in on the G-Men, but they're
bumbling into the big show this time. Nevertheless, they
are the defending champs and have home field throughout the
playoffs, so that six and a half points could be tricky.
San Francisco -3 versus Washington
Niners are playing at home to keep their head coach.
Washington ran out of gas a long time ago.
And finally, a tough one. (Tough game, that is)
Denver +8˝ at San Diego
Denver has been so much better on the road than at home this
year. Both teams need this one, both have very good
quarterbacks, but the Broncos have a better coach.. by
far!!!

The
regular NFL season is, Sunday, FINALLY over……
Although The Beasts have prevailed over the Beauties in the
Friday Flyer Football Contest (93-84-3 to 73-107 going into
Sunday's games), I'm sure Mona, Casey (those humble
Beauties) and The Mouth and this Tout (those, not so
professional handicappers) found coal in
they're stockings, yesterday……
Next year (if publisher Marleen can put up with
the embarrassment you should take the .461 winning % and bet
the other sides'.
We'll "bust the joints"
I'll try my luck at some play off and Super Bowl
predictions next week………

Parting (the
winner) is such sweet sorrow; yet here we are in the final week of
another meschugah NFL season. Hope you all had fun with our nonsense
and stuck with my selections as opposed to those of the imposters.
The final week is almost as impossible to handicap as the first, but
the selections have to be made and so..........
Cowboys +1˝
The only game I would really recommend from a betting standpoint. I
guess I'll have to wait 'til its over to find out why Philly is the
favorite. Personally I find it absurd.
Packers
-10 ???? Last chance to pick on the Lions and as good as any,
but I'd keep my cash in my pocket here.
Jets -2˝
Brett's last hurrah? Who knows....lets just say I had to pick a
third game.
