A New Dawn of Hope?
The past eight years have been very difficult for the American People. Terrorism and despotism in the form of an administration that has seen fit to trample on the constitution. It was as if a black cloud hung over the US and the world for eight years.

On November 4, 2008, the American People awoke from the nightmare of the last eight years and voted for Barack Obama. For many, the election was the culmination of a 400-year struggle to overcome the bonds of slavery, bigotry and racism.
A new dawn of hope has come to America in the form of Barack Obama. It’s as if a great weight has been lifted off the psyche of the American people and our true position as the leader of the free world has been restored.
Unilateralism has been rejected and hope flourishes around the world. America is once again a beacon of light, nevertheless, the struggles ahead are many. Two wars, economic woes and the undoing of many divisive policies must be addressed. No one knows if America will be better off in four or eight years of an Obama administration, however, it seems we are already a better country as of November 4, 2008.
Congratulations to Barack Obama and Joe Biden and may they lead us to peace and prosperity once again.
