Performer to Tour Opportunity Village on October 10

Tony Orlando will partner with Opportunity Village for a benefit concert on Saturday, October 11, at 2 p.m., with all of the proceeds benefiting the Las Vegas charity.  Doors open at 1 p.m. at The Showroom inside The South Point Hotel and Casino.  The day before his concert, October 10 at 9 a.m., Mr. Orlando will be touring the Opportunity Village campus at 6300 W. Oakey Blvd. in an event open to the media.    

“I have been working with Opportunity Village since the 1970s,” said Orlando, “It’s one of the most rewarding organizations I’ve ever been a part of.”

Tony Orlando has been entertaining fans all across the nation for over 35 years.   During that time, Orlando has had five number one hits, sold millions of records, starred in a popular television variety series, movies and Broadway plays. Orlando has also been a longtime friend and supporter of Opportunity Village and people with disabilities. 

Tickets can be purchased at the South Point box office, by phone at (702) 797-8055 or toll-free at (866) 796-7111.  Tickets can also be purchased online at www.southpointcasino.com.  Ticket prices are $35, $40 and $45, with VIP tickets available for $100.  VIP tickets will include a surprise from Tony Orlando, and can be purchased by calling Seana Pitrone at (702) 839-4757.  VIP tickets are limited.  A raffle will be held to win lunch with Orlando as well as a gift bag of his memorabilia.  Tickets can be purchased at the event for $25 each.
