Bay Area UFO Conference, David Icke, Jordan Maxwell, The Anunnaki, artist Damien Hirst, Human Sacrifice Continues, Movie Review: Religulous, Above Top Secret, and more…

The 10th Annual Bay Area UFO Expo. I’m back from Victoria Jack’s 10th Annual Bay Area UFO Conference that was held at the Marriott Hotel in Santa Clara, California. People came from all over the country and even Europe. What a very scary group gathered! As difficult as it is to imagine these people functioning in the real world, they do have their own self-sustaining community. I spent as much time as I could hiding in my hotel room. THE BAY AREA UFO EXPO 2008

Most attendees came to see featured guest David Icke. A few of the speakers, Roger Leir, George Knapp, Robert O. Dean (the sweetest big flirt I know!) and Whitley Strieber are friends. Whitley and Anne vanished so quickly after their workshop presentation that people wondered if (a) they had another engagement, or (b) they wanted to avoid 1,000 people who looked forward to discussing their E.T. abductions with them). The rest of the speakers were new to me. Their notoriety is based, in large part, on their being guests on Coast to Coast AM, the hugely popular radio show that focuses primarily on paranormal topics. COAST TO COAST AM WITH GEORGE NOORY

David Icke, who did spend time with attendees, is revered. He and Jordan Maxwell were the most popular speakers. They were Prophets of Hysteria with books. Part 2 of Icke’s Workshop ran on Sunday from 10AM to 4PM. He had over 500 people in rapt attention. I was told in all solemnity: “He tells the truth no one else will.”

In fact, if Icke doesn’t start a church, he’s missing out on George Orwell’s sage advice. In 1938, Orwell wrote: "But I have always thought there might be a lot of cash in starting a new religion...".  I did sit in on Icke’s lecture. Here is his message: We are all asleep. The media is drugging us. We are being controlled. Wake up! http://www.davidicke.com

Didn’t Russian mystic G. I. Gurdjieff (pictured) say the same thing a long time ago? Gurdjieff, who had (and still has) a huge following, claimed that people do not perceive reality, as they are not conscious of themselves, but live in a state of hypnotic "waking sleep."

"Man lives his life in sleep, and in sleep he dies.” Gurdjieff taught that each person perceived things from a completely subjective perspective. Gurdjieff stated that maleficent events such as wars and so on could not possibly take place if people were more awake. He asserted that people in their typical state were unconscious automatons, but that it was possible for a man to wake up and experience life more fully.

The very cordial Jordan Maxwell is hailed as a preeminent researcher and independent scholar in the field of occult / religious philosophy. I sat in on his workshop and was appalled! He is strongly anti-religious and blames the Vatican for Western civilization. He blames every word in our language on the Romans. His lecture/workshop was called "Holy Terror: "The Hidden Dimension in World Affairs". Maxwell is the authority on secret societies ruling the world. But he never told us how we could join a secret society. He also confirms for the faithful that aliens walk among us. Jordan Maxwell's Home Page

Maxwell says that alien beings from other planets are here manipulating everything. They look just like us. He said that illusionist Criss Angel is not human but an Anunnaki (pictured). The audience applauded. Anunnaki War Plans. Yes, they have war plans.

Does Holly Madison, Hugh Hefner’s No. 1 girlfriend and rumored paramour of Criss Angel, know he’s an Anunnaki?

The Anunnaki invaded the Earth, enslaved humans, and forced them to build huge temples and other structures. The Anunnaki also carried out extensive genetic engineering on this planet. Zecharia Sitchin's manifesto, “The 12th Planet”, maintains that ancient myths are not myths but historical and scientific texts. According to Sitchin, ancient Sumerian clay tablets reveal that gods from another planet (Nibiru, which orbits our Sun every 3,600 years) arrived on Earth some 450,000 years ago and created humans by the genetic engineering of female apes. The two major Anunnaki groups that came to Earth are known as the Reptilians and the Vulturites. These two groups are bitter enemies and they are still waging horrific wars on Earth, using humans as their cannon fodder.

The third largest group of Anunnaki are known as the Masa-karas. They have two main bases on Earth. There is a concentration of Masa-karas based in central Germany, although many of this group have immigrated to Australia over the last decade. Many other groups of aliens are also starting to migrate to Australia. Eventually, Australia will be one of the world’s main alien centres.

Above Top Secret. I thoroughly enjoyed spending time with Dave Rabbit (pictured left) and Johnny Anonymous (pictured right) of AboveTopSecret.com. This rambunctious duo gleefully cover all the strangeness swirling out there.

AboveTopSecret.com is the place to go for the strange.

Dave described their radio partnership to me. Johnny, he proudly said, is the consummate researcher. He studies the topic under discussion. Dave doesn’t bother even paying attention. That’s his job and his charm! After being introduced to me, spending a half hour talking to me, and looking at my business card, he asked: “So how are you affiliated with John Alexander?”  Sitting with them was like trying to make two toddlers behave at a funeral. I offered Dave crayons and paper in an attempt to settle him down. http://www.abovetopsecret.com/

So-Called “Artist” Damien Hirst.

I read in The Economist the lengthy article about British artist Damien Hirst’s monumental $200 million sale at Sotheby’s in London. In one sense, it was a triumph, since anyone with the money could bid on the art. Apparently, not all obscenely wealthy people are allowed to buy art.

A collector must earn the right to buy art. They must be on an art dealer’s VIP list. Can you believe this vulgar elitism? It seems that artists don’t want just anybody having their art. What if some rich yahoo hung their art in the wrong room? You have to be vetted to buy a million dollar lithograph.

And, by going to Sotheby’s auction house, Hirst cut out the art dealer’s commission. Genius!

In London Hirst presides over two large industrial factories that produce his pictures and paintings. He also leases two wartime aircraft hangers for the manufacture of his spot paintings, the spin works, and the formaldehyde tanks.

More than 180 people, called “fabricators”, work for him, creating Damien Hirsts. Two specialists oversee the formaldehyde unit. The formaldehyde works, which are known to break down and are not considered permanent, come with a maintenance contract.

The public now knows that Hirst is a factory manager employing people who actually make his art. The art world and collectors do not care. Hirst does sign and date the backs of the works.

Movies This Week:

Religulous, as in “ridiculous”. I get it but who will be able to pronounce it? Maher ridicules all religions except the third largest, Hinduism, with 900 million followers (that’s 13% of the world’s population), and the fourth, Buddhism, with 376 million followers. Spiritism (I’ve attended ceremonies in Brazil) has 15 million and Judaism has 14 million. So how come Maher ignores Hinduism and Buddhism? Maher should praise Buddha for inventing a religion without a God. Maher ends with a stern preaching on the evils of religion!

Christianity claims 2.1 billion followers and Islam has 1.5 billion followers. Mahler also leaves Kabbalah and Voodoo alone, but picks on Scientology with its measly 500,000 followers (are those numbers inflated?). Somehow, Maher traveled the world and found no one smart enough to explain to him why religion is important and why it serves the needs of people.

Religion has a long, long history, but the only reason Maher can come up with is that people are idiots.

Maher takes the Borat route by finding truck drivers and serpent handlers to interview. Maher especially loves to ridicule Christianity for praying to a phony god and drinking his blood.

Yes, I understand this is a comedy and not a documentary on the value of religion. But you would think there would be someone able to spar with Maher on his level of intelligence.

Maher confuses a few major points. Mainly, the jealous, vengeful God of the Old Testament is not the God of the New Testament. He also continuously mocks Christianity with laughter over the Virgin Birth of Jesus. He loves the blood drinking of Christianity. What about that phony crucifixion? Wasn’t that a setup? The Resurrection? Everybody was hoodwinked! It was all made up because the people were ignorant and didn’t remember a thing about Jesus after he was crucified. Hey, lots of people were crucified by the Romans. It was their sport of choice. It’s been decades since JFK died, and people are still bragging about things he said and did – that they remember firsthand. Phonies, all of them!

As a comedian, Maher must know that people can memorize an hour’s worth of material; Shakespearean actors memorize a hell of a lot of words. Yet Maher is certain that nothing in the Gospels could possibly be direct knowledge handed down from generation to generation. We only allow Native American Indians to have a concrete oral tradition.

Maher does offend, insult, and humiliate everyone who comes in contact with him. I would love to see the outtakes! If only Maher had found someone to mock his atheism. Wasn’t anyone Maher met able to come up with something funny to say to someone who has no religion?

If you don’t know anything about other religions, Maher hits all the nasty bits that plague each religion. He goes after the Mormons even though they are not even ranked! (Mormons have 12 million followers worldwide.) The Catholics never fight back even though they are constantly under attack. But the peaceful Mormons are going to be furious. Yes, Maher certainly takes jabs at Islam but keeps his mouth shut on the Prophet Mohammed and his wives.

There is enough fun stuff, movie clips, and cartoons to keep the laughs rolling along at times. Even comedians want to be movie stars. The problem is Maher is not likeable. He’s got an arrogance and spiteful demeanor that comes through. Being a social commentator is the only way to go for him. But he’s not happy. He wants to be on theater screens.

I like Bill Maher, but he should stay out of movies.

Human Sacrifice Continues.

The Goddess was hungry! Publicly sanctioned human sacrifice is not permitted anymore, but still continues in a different form. In my opinion, its still sacrifice to the deity as required. At least 177 people were killed and 150 injured when thousands of pilgrims stampeded last Tuesday at a Hindu temple in the historic town of Jodhpur, India. Severe overcrowding apparently caused the crush as more than 12,000 people gathered at the temple to celebrate a Hindu festival.

Thousands had gathered at the temple at dawn to mark the first day of Navratra, a nine-day Hindu festival to honor the Mother Goddess.

Deadly stampedes are a relatively common occurrence at temples in India, where large crowds - sometimes hundreds of thousands of people - congregate in small areas lacking facilities to control big gatherings. In August, 145 people were killed when rumors of an avalanche sparked a stampede at a hilltop temple in northern India.
