Four Seasons & Nevada Cancer Institute Make Strides In The Fight Against Cancer With 9th Annual Halloween Run For Cancer Research, Oct. 25.
Event to include 5K Run & Fun Walk, 100-yard Mini Monster Dash, costume contests It’s time to lace up your sneakers for a worthy cause! On Saturday, Oct. 25, hundreds of runners and families will converge on the Summerlin campus of Nevada Cancer Institute (NVCI) for the 9th Annual Four Seasons Halloween Run for Cancer Research, presented in conjunction with the Las Vegas Track Club, KVBC-TV News 3, MIX 94.1 FM and “S” The Magazine of Summerlin. Proceeds will benefit NVCI. Hosted by KVBC-TV News 3 anchor Sue Manteris, this family-friendly event will include a 5K Run and Fun Walk as well as a 100-yard Mini Monster Dash, a costume contest for children and pets, various children’s activities and a Four Seasons catered breakfast featuring tantalizing items by Executive Chef Michael Goodman and Pastry Chef Jean-Luc Daul. Participants can also enter to win fabulous raffle prizes, including dinners, show tickets and other giveaways. “Four Seasons has long been passionate about fighting cancer and NVCI remains at the forefront of cancer care and research, so it is a wonderful partnership,” says Mark Hellrung, general manager, Four Seasons Hotel Las Vegas. “The proceeds from the event will help provide valuable resources for those so heroically battling this disease right here in the Las Vegas Valley.” Opened in 2005, NVCI is dedicated to state-of-the-art research and the implementation of groundbreaking methods in the prevention, detection and treatment of cancer.
