First of all, I
want to say hi! to all my friends and fans in Las Vegas and around the
world that are so kind to check in to VCO each month to read my column
and send good wishes.
I am doing fine
and finally getting settled in New Orleans. It's been a difficult
transition because of the storms but things are finally getting back to
normal.
As I
suspected, I was once again greeted here with open minds and open
hearts. These folks have been warm and wonderful and I have already
been featured on the front page of the local newspaper and am preparing
for my own TV show here on the Fox affiliate and getting ready
to premier my singing act, The Gennifer Flowers Show, at the legendary
Chris Owens Club at Bourbon and St. Louis streets in the New Orleans
French Quarter. For more info please go to my website:

How about this
election? Very interesting, huh? While I have been unpacking boxes and
working on my singing act, I have also been paying attention to this on
going soap opera like saga called the presidential campaign. I have been
around a long time and have followed many elections over the years, but
this seems to be the one at which most is at stake. I just did an
interview for FoxNews.com and I couldn't honestly say who for whom I
would vote.
 Now,
just because I think that Sarah Palin is sexy and smart and pretty much
the "whole female package" doesn't mean that I will vote republican. As
I have said in the past in reference to Hillary Clinton, I would really
like to be able to be loyal to my gender. BUT HAVEN'T THE REPUBLICANS
SCREWED UP ENOUGH?! Both parties scare me to death these days. It's
evident that most public officials are out for themselves and to hell
with the public that put them in office.
And what about
Barack Obama? Who knows much about this man except that he has a gift
for gab. Doesn't that remind you people of someone else that was full
of beans? You know who I'm talking about, right? If not, here's
another hint... "I had a twelve year relationship with the man that
is full of beans." Well, Barack reminds me a great deal of him both in
the B.S. department and the amount of initial political experience.
I can tell you
that this Lipstick Republican will rise and shine on election day, place
my shapely derrière on my pink heart shaped tufted bench, take out my
hot Chanel "election day red" lip gloss, apply it and then silently
pray that when I go into that voting booth, the good Lord will guide my
hand when I punch the button because only he knows who can ultimately be
good for our country.
God bless America!

Kisses, Gennifer
