Journalist Dis-Invited to Cirque Opening

We received a call today from 70 year old celebrity Monti Rock III who was apparently told that he was dis-invited from the Criss Angel Believe opening. Ad man Dave Kirvin in all his usual glory sent Rock III an email saying that he was dis-invited to the opening and the Gala because they over invited people. This, on the day that Rock had received standing ovations in his new Atlantic City show, Disco Ball. Rock III is also an entertainment columnist with a number of publications.

Rock III has been on Johnny Carson 84 times and 76 times on Merv Griffin. He has been in 12 major motion pictures and countless other television shows and 3 gold albums. Yet, the brass and star-fu#@ers of Vegas will not give him the respect the long time entertainer has earned.

They turn their backs on entertainment legend Monti Rock III and announce pornstars, nude models, low brow actors and others that have not been broadcasted in over 15 years to walk a “black Carpet”. This is truly embarrassing to Las Vegas. Why in Gods name would anyone want to put a 70 year old man through this? How can Criss Angel allow this to happen? I have seen this type of proprietary party list happen before. However, no good comes from this. Even I am still being punished by MGM for unveiling the Sin City Beer /MGM Executive conspiracy. I was even told by an upper level V.P., that if I didn’t play by their rules, then they don’t have to work with me. How’s that for MGM wanting honest journalistic opinion.

Watch Protest at Poetry Nightclub Inside Caesars Palace Forum Shops on RawVegas.tv

Caesars Palace closes the giant fire door between the casino and the Forum Shops every Friday and Saturday Night during peak club hours restricting access to the popular hip hop nightclub. Caesars lawyers claim the closing of the giant fire door preventing access into the Forum Shops or exiting by our customers into their casino is a business issue and not a race issue. What is the business issue? To put us out of business? Is it prudent in theses harsh economic times to prevent people from accessing your business based off the color of their skin? said Poetry's Branden Powers also being contested is Poetry Nightclub's air-conditioning units.. Simon Properties owners of the Forum Shops refuses to fix Poetry's air conditioning after 5 sweltering hot summers. Poetry is supposed to have 150 gallons of water per minute. Simon Properties only provides 25 gallons per minute. We feel it is an attempt to heat out our clientel based on race. "Our lawsuit against Caesars Palace and the Forum shops isn't about money...its about standing up for the rights of our customers and for the right for us to operate our business unobstructed" added Poetry's Branden Powers Several Hundred People came together last week in a silent observance of racism in action
