SUSHISAMBA’S SUGARCANE

The industry’s sweet spot, SUGARbeats, will
feature an eclectic variety of DJs, music genres
and rhythms every Wednesday night, in
partnership with nightlife marketing guru Lia
Rispoli at SUGARCANE. Each week, SUGARbeats will
be home to local revelers and industry
associates, offering discounted signature
cocktails and bottle service.
Sexy SUGARCANE transcends nightlife into an art
form. Adjacent to SUSHI SAMBA strip, its sister
locale, SUGARCANE is drama and decadence spiked
with interactive entertainment and an
anything-goes attitude.
Every Wednesday night, beginning Sept. 10 at 10
p.m.
Congratulations Josh and Jamie!!

We at TheVegasEye.com would like to congratulate
two of our friends Jamie Chilberg and Josh
Thomsen on their engagement while on their trip
to Italy. The couple was in Sicily, Modena,
Chianti, and Rome but could not make it to the
village of Corleone, but word is Josh popped the
question in Florence. We wish you both all the
best life has to offer!
Hats Off to Creative Writing
In a recent article by Vegas mini-blogger,
VegasTrippings’2007 Vegas Person of the Year and
writer of guide to 'Gay Vegas" Steve Friess;
turned a blind eye on Vegas gay bashing. We were
surprised to read that Friess agreed with
Prive’s exploits against myself and that he
would take such a stance being an openly gay man
in Vegas, after seeing and reading the words on
the mean spirited hats that sources had seen
worn and distributed by club executives and
staff. The hats were clearly created to
chastise, ridicule and offend my sexuality.

A recent response regarding the hats from a
Prive’ Las Vegas attorney claimed that no Prive’
Vegas management or employee had anything to do
with the creation or display of these hats. By
admitting, in writing that the offending
language is and would be utterly false and
defamatory. The letter goes on, claiming that no
one affiliated with Prive’ Vegas wore the hat
and thus, the guy pictured in the hat with the
earpiece, clipboard, pen and microphone standing
inside prive’ Vegas and listed on The Spy on
Vegas website among all other photos from Prive
on Monday August 18 2008 did not work at Prive’
Vegas. Wow, here comes the real kicker. The
letter states that it is Prive’s position that
the person taking the photograph and publishing
it knows who the person wearing the hat is. Way
to throw Spy On Vegas under the bus.
