HUNTINGTON TATS THE PALMS
Premier
nightclub promoter and my good friend John
Huntington will open his new tattoo lounge,
Huntington Ink, this spring inside the Palms
Casino Resort. The co-producer and star of A&E’s
hit reality show “Inked” returns to the Palms
with a high-end, Asian inspired tattoo lounge
that will replace Hart & Huntington.
Reflecting Huntington’s love for the Asian culture and his martial arts background in Jujitsu and Muy Thai, the newly designed lounge will feature a palette of gold and orange and dramatic lighting, along with water features and ornate staircases. Guests can view the tattoo artists’ flash and previous work on an interactive wall of touch screen units. Huntington will also incorporate a tattoo stage and state-of-the-art sound system for guest DJs and the nightclub guru’s friends.
“I am so excited to rejoin forces with George Maloof and the Palms team to take the casino tattoo experience to the next level. No other team could have brought me back to Vegas from Costa Rica. Expect to be blown away,” says Huntington Ink owner John Huntington.
“We are thrilled to have John Huntington back at the Palms,” says Palms owner George Maloof. “His creativity and innovation will make Huntington Ink the most incredible tattoo destination in Las Vegas.”
T.I. performs before prison
Superstar
rapper T.I. gave a super-special performance
last night at Jet Nightclub at The Mirage as
part of the nightclub’s “Locals 3 Year
Anniversary” celebration. It was his last west
coast performance before heading to prison in
March on a felony weapon charge conviction.
After walking the red carpet, where he was mobbed by media and screaming fans, T.I. immediately took the microphone and treated partiers to an extended 10-song set which included "Bring 'em Out," "Live Your Life" (Rihanna's song), and his current smash hit "Whatever You Like,” among others. The packed club went wild for the superstar and ladies crammed up close to the stage to take photos and grab at him as his sagging jeans fell down to expose his red and white striped boxers. Much to the delight of his excited female fans, as the set went on, more clothes came off, and he finished off the performance shirtless and in his boxers.

Usher
took a break from recording his upcoming album
to say hi to his pal T.I. at The Mirage and then
settled into VIP at JET to enjoy the anniversary
celebration which was in full force with local
industry types who, for the past three years,
have helped Jet maintain the stature of having
the most popular and successful Monday evening
nightclub events in Las Vegas, presented by
marketing director Steven Lockwood. Marion
Barber of the Dallas Cowboys was also in the
house.
Prior to bringing down the house at Jet, T.I. and crew dined at Stack Restaurant & Bar at The Mirage where they savored Hot Rocks, Wings, Cowboy Steaks, Penne Pasta, Baby Veggies, Fries, Lobster Tacos, and Spicy Crab.
T.I.’s reality television series, "T.I.'s Road to Redemption: 45 Days to Go,” premieres on MTV on February 10. His one year prison term begins on March 27.
THE KILLERS at THE JOINT

Hometown favorites, The Killers will be returning to Las Vegas to perform inside the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino’s brand new Joint this spring in support of their incredible third album, Day & Age, out now on Island Records. The Killers’ live show has taken on new dimensions thanks to the brilliant songs found on Day & Age. The album, which sold over a million copies worldwide in its first week of release, sees The Killers expanding their sound into new territories with tremendous results. From the swirling synths and guitar trills of first single “Human,” to the epic, sing-along chorus of new single “Spaceman,” to the sparkling harps and strings on “I Can’t Stay” and more, Day & Age is The Killers at their very best.
