New Year's Resolutions do not have to be "made to be broken." January is National Lose Weight, Feel Great Month. You are urged to get up and go, and here are some ways that you can get started. These are 5 steps to help. Step 1- Establish a healthy goal for yourself. Whether this is a physical, mental or emotional goal, vow to feel better. Create a different goal for each day of the month, and make a chart to keep yourself motivated. Step 2 - Let go of unhealthy eating habits. Foods high in fats and sugar not only affect your weight but also your health. If you really want to lose weight and feel great, kick the habits this month. Step 3 - Relax your mind, body and soul. Even if you have a healthy diet, stress can cause illnesses to take you over and even possibly stop weight loss. Celebrate this month by de-stressing. Step 4 - Develop a consistent workout plan. Incorporating regular exercise into your life this month will most definitely help you to lose weight and feel great. Make small steps that are comfortable for you. Just remember to stay active everyday. Step 5 - Get closer to your loved ones. Spending quality time with your loved ones will keep you content and motivated. Remind them of your goals so that they can keep you on track. Perhaps your life change will persuade them to celebrate National Lose Weight, Feel Great Month as well.
