City Council Names Ustick Acting City Manager

The North Las Vegas City Council, at Wednesday’s meeting, unanimously voted to appoint Maryann Ustick as Acting City Manager, filling the vacancy left by former City Manager Gregory Rose. “I appreciate the confidence the City Council has placed in me to lead our City during this transition,” Ustick said. “I look forward to working closely with the City Council in this new role.”

Ustick joined the City in December 2005 as the Assistant City Manager over Development. Prior to joining the City, Ustick worked as the Assistant City Manager and Interim City Manager for the City of Las Cruces, N.M. She also was the Assistant City Manager for the City of Pensacola, FL.

Ustick holds a bachelor’s degree from St. Mary’s College of Maryland, a master’s degree in history and a master’s of public administration from Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Va.
