Vegas PBS provides live coverage of President Barack Obama’s first address to a joint session of Congress on Tuesday, Feb. 24 during a special “The NewsHour with Jim Lehrer” broadcast on Vegas PBS Jackpot! Cox Cable channel 111 from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. The broadcast will provide coverage of President Obama’s speech, as well as post-address analysis and live coverage of the Republican Party’s response to the address.  The NewsHour broadcast will repeat Wednesday, Feb. 25 on Vegas PBS Channel 10 at 12:30 a.m.

 

“The NewsHour with Jim Lehrer” is an hour long newscast airing weeknights at 6 p.m. on Vegas PBS Channel 10 and HD 10.2 digital. The program is anchored by Jim Lehrer with senior correspondents Judy Woodruff, Jeffrey Brown, Gwen Ifill, Margaret Warner and Ray Suarez.
