We must all get ready
Our baggage must be packed
For that one way trip
We won't be coming back

Do you know, what you are taking
When you go to meet the Lord
He'll want to know, while on this earth
What have you done, since your birth

How have you justified your life
By loving one another
I don't mean just family
But all your sisters and brothers

Did you try to help the helpless
Did you assist someone in need
Or did you live a selfish life
Full of hate, avarice and greed

The way you live in his world
The love you give
The things you do
Will be written, in God's book of life
It's how he'll be judging you

This will be your baggage
When you take that final trip
Be careful, pack it wisely
Just a little tip

Stuff it till it's bursting
With all your goodness and love
Then you'll surely,  take a one way journey
When you go to Heaven above
