Reid and Ensign Meet With Troops From the Nevada National Guard

Nevada Senators Harry Reid and John Ensign met with troops from the Nevada Army National Guard in Reno. The representatives from the Guard were in town to visit with their counterparts at National Guard headquarters in Washington DC.  The “Battle Born” Guard soldiers met with Senator Reid and Senator Ensign at a regular “Welcome to Washington” breakfast hosted by the senators for Nevadans visiting Washington.

Nevada Senator Harry Reid met today with students and other young adults from Nevada that have traveled to Washington D.C. to promote clean energy.  The group is part of 10,000 young people from across the country for Power Shift 2009, a national youth conference focused on clean energy, green jobs and climate change.
