When we have
absolutely no idea about what will happen next, we are in the perfect position
for something good to happen. How else would you expect something greater than
you if you knew it was coming?
Today, make room for the unknown. That's where the magic happens.
Who says Kabbalah is a
feel-good philosophy? It's through hopelessness and darkness that certainty and
Light emerge. As low as you go is as high as you can go.
It's OK if you fall into the pit. It's the judging yourself for being there that
is not OK. We have to be constantly letting go of our fear of being in this
place of lack and discomfort. Being comfortable with uncertainty is the key to
achieving real certainty.
Today, consider the possibility that being uncomfortable is a lot more enjoyable
and rewarding than being comfortable.
I have
friends who are performers and they tell me that if they are not nervous before
a show, they are worried. They know that a little fear is healthy because it
pushes them to excel.
Today, do something that will give you butterflies in your stomach. It is an
indication that you are about to go to your next level.
Our work is to shed the armor
that shields us, and to discover how to live in the discomfort of exposure and
realness.
Today, expose yourself. Tell the poeple you care about what's really on your
mind. Allow you to be you.
When Moses was convincing
the Israelites to leave Egypt, he used only a few words to convince them to have
certainty. My father too, has that ability to say two words to you that you'll
remember for the rest of your life.
Today, keep it simple. Think about the core of your message and get right to it.
Just as
electricity must be concelaed in wires and rubber tubes, the Lightforce must
also be concealed. Kabbalists say there's two types of concealment, single and
double. Single is when you go through pain but know it will be good in the end.
Double is when you have no hope of anything getting better
Today, turn up your certainty meter. Whatever it is you do to expand your
consciousness, double it.
Doubt is
what brings the feeling of hating oneself and hating other people.
Today, remember that through certainty
comes love.
