Variety’s Patron Schools

John F. Miller School (1905 Atlantic St., Las Vegas, NV 89104) serves approximately 120 severely disabled students. The students range in age from 3-22 years.  All students are considered multiply disabled and are in the severe to profound range of cognitive/ability.

Variety School (2601 Sunrise Ave., Las Vegas, NV  89101) serves approximately 150 students ranging in age from 5-22 years with a wide variety of disabilities. School experiences increases acquisition of skills, student knowledge and character with commitment to assure the least restrictive environment.

Variety Early Learning Center (990 D St., Las Vegas, NV  89106) serves approximately 130 children, ranging in age from six months to five years.  The center provides a safe, nurturing and educational setting for children and services for their economically disadvantaged families.

The Center is accredited with the National Association for the Education of Young Children, and with United Way of Southern Nevada.              

Variety of Southern Nevada was established in 1950 by prominent Las Vegas citizens in the entertainment industry, as a private non-profit, an affiliate member of US Variety and Variety International. Variety is dedicated to improving the quality of life for children with special needs through many community projects. Variety continues its endeavors through programs like Kids

On The Go!, which provides customized adaptive equipment to children whose families are unable to afford very expensive mobility devices. As a partner in the community, Variety continues to furnish special need transportation vans to children’s groups and service providers.

It is Variety’s goal to serve each special child completely by addressing their physical and social needs, to better foster a happy and healthy childhood.
