Jan-Ie Low

 

Jan-Ie is Jay-Son's sister and the General Manager of Satay.  She is a graduate of University of Washington, with a Degree in Business with an emphasis in Marketing.  Upon graduation, she joined a hi-tech company in Seattle as a Human Resources professional.  Within a matter of a few years, she rose to the ranks of Senior HR Manager, and joined Fortune 500 companies the likes of AT&T Wireless and T-Mobile.  Because of her passion for the food industry, she owned a catering company for over a decade.  Today, she has left corporate America and is instrumental in the day-to-day success of Satay.

 

Jan-Ie is currently an active member of the Asian Chamber Commerce, Women's Chamber, a volunteer for the Foundation for the Positively Kids, a life skills coach for the Summer Business Institute Program (ClarkCounty) and a Board of Advisor for the Henderson Host Lions International.

 

Jan-Ie's accomplishment included the Asian Chamber of Commerce's "2007 Public Service Person of the Year" Award for her work with the Foundation for the Positively Kids and a 2008 Inductee of the Women's Hall of Fame "Young Professionals" with the Women's  Chamber of Commerce of Nevada.
