Winner earns seat in 2009 World Series of Poker plus cash!

Opportunity Village, a Las Vegas-based not-for-profit organization, is hosting its 4th Annual Celebrity Poker Tournament on April 4 inside the Poker Room at Caesars Palace.  The winner of this year’s tournament earns a seat in the 2009 World Series of Poker Main Event, valued at $10,000, plus $10,000 cash! 

The Celebrity Poker Tournament is being sponsored by Full Tilt Poker® and many of the professional poker players on the Full Tilt roster will be in attendance, including Howard Lederer, Allen Cunningham, Erica Shoenberg and many more.  There will be many other local and national celebrities playing in the tournament, including Penn Jillette, Carrot Top, Oklahoma Johnny Hale, world’s top PC gamer, Johnathan “Fatal1ty” Wendel, the Fantasy Girls, the Chippendales and Daniel Baldwin, just to name a few.   

The buy-in for the tournament is $300 with unlimited $200 re-buys and a $200 add-on.  Check-in begins at 10am on April 4, with a VIP Brunch starting at 11am inside of PURE Nightclub.  The cards hit the felt at 1pm inside of the Caesars Palace Poker Room.  A silent auction is being held, with items including a full-sized Full Tilt Poker table, signed by members of the FTP team; poker lessons from Andy Bloch; private PC gaming time with world’s #1 gamer, Fatal1ty, and a host of other wonderful prizes.  100% of the proceeds from the tournament benefit the disabled men and women at Opportunity Village.  Register by calling (702) 880-4038 or visiting www.opportunityvillage.org.
