Outdoor Nevada

Experience the wonder and natural beauty of Nevada on the Vegas PBS series Outdoor Nevada. This is the program where knowledgeable local and state residents inform and delight viewers with information on where to go, what to do, and how to do it in order to more fully enjoy and appreciate the scenery and activities this state has to offer. If you’re a lover of the outdoors or if you’re an armchair nature lover, this program is for you. From the best or unknown camping spots, the best fishing spots, or just putting your feet up in your living room and enjoying Nevada’s scenery, this program has something for everyone.

Outdoor Nevada offers residents of the state interesting places to go and interesting things to see and do in the Nevada outdoors.

During the production of this series we have brought stories to our viewers about Nevadans who have positive relationships with, and positive effects on, our natural environment.

In addition we sought out those stories that were “uniquely Nevada.” This search lead us to the far corners of the state. From Ruby Marsh to Walker Lake, Valley of Fire to the Black Rock Desert and all the basins and ranges in between. We measured the miles in extraordinary places, fascinating people, thrilling activities and great stories.

Our viewers felt the same way. Whenever we met them on shoots or at events they always offered us story ideas to share “their Nevada” with us and with other viewers. And they have always been quick to praise us as well, because they feel Outdoor Nevada stories are their stories too.
