Tinoco’s Kitchen

Tinoco’s Kitchen recently opened in the Las Vegas Club Hotel and Casino, downtown Las Vegas, replacing the Great Moments Café. The Tinoco family has been in the restaurant business for over eight years, operating Tinoco’s Bistro at the Arts Factory until it closed and the Tinoco family moved to the Las Vegas Club.

The décor is bold and bright with cutting edge art on the walls and brightly colored tables and chairs adding to the bohemian atmosphere.  The food is eclectic Italian-California-Latin-Asian with some of the wonderful Chef Tinoco creations on the menu. This is a warm place to hang out with friends, enjoy out-of-town company or a break from work.

Along with traditional breakfast fare, other choices include two eggs, rice and linguisa sausage; hickory smoked bacon or link sausage with two eggs and hash browns; and poached eggs over crab cakes and red pepper sauce.

For soups and salads, try the California corn and crab chowder; Calamari and corn salad with roasted red bell pepper sauce; or sliced mozzarella, tomatoes, red onion, basil and olive oil. Assorted sandwiches with choice of fruit salad, veggies or fries, hamburgers and salads are also offered.

Pastas include Lobster Ravioli with mushrooms and shrimp in a garlic white wine sauce; ricotta and spinach ravioli made with truffle oil, checca sauce & chicken, or Paglia e Fieno made with penne and a traditional slow-cooked ragu.

Seafood dinners feature sea bass with lobster curry, orange roughy with truffle, corn and mushroom ragu, and a trio of halibut, salmon and ahi tuna with risotto. Other dinners include blackened shrimp over linguine and green peas in a red pepper sauce; Chicken Marsala made with chicken breast, mushrooms, mashed potatoes and vegetables in a marsala wine sauce; and lamb chops with lyonnaise potatoes, madeira-mint jus and asparagus.

Desserts include flourless chocolate cake served with vanilla ice cream with chocolate sauce, German chocolate cake topped with coconut, pecan filling and chocolate ganache, or New York styled cheesecake topped with caramel sauce.

Tinoco’s Kitchen is located adjacent to the Vegas Club Players Club and is open daily for breakfast, lunch and dinner from 7 a.m. until 10 p.m. Artwork currently displayed is on loan from Carlo Roncancio Fine Art.
