For
those who celebrate Easter, whether as a time of new
beginnings, or a religious significance, here are
some suggestions to share this colorful time of year
with friends and family.
But first, there is a very worthy organization that
can use your help this year. E BUNNY, a volunteer
community outreach program, is looking for
individuals, groups, churches and businesses who
would like to make 2009 the best Easter ever for
hundreds of children in need.
For 19 years, E Bunny has reached out to children in
need, providing Easter baskets as a token of hope,
joy and renewal. Baskets are given directly to the
missions, shelters and child welfare agencies who
cannot afford Easter baskets for the children in
their care. Without community support, this effort
could not happen each year. E BUNNY is behind in
their goal this year and can really use your help.
They are looking for donations of pre-packaged
Easter Baskets that can be purchased at any grocery,
drugstore, or general department store. They don't
accept monetary contributions, just Easter baskets
to pass directly to the children.
You can help by joining "One Special Basket... for
One Special Child" program, buy one basket and maybe
inspire your friends, relatives, neighbors and
co-workers to get involved too.

The deadline is Wednesday, April 6 and baskets can
be dropped off at Nitco, off Sunset, just east of
the Sunset Post Office at 6620 Escondido St., Suite
E, Las Vegas, 89119. The drop-off hours are 7 a.m.
through 2 p.m. and the phone number is 702-361-1453.
For more details, visit the
E BUNNY web page.
