The St. Patrick’s Day Parade

The St. Patrick’s Day parade in Henderson was a blast.  M Resort & Casino was generous to sponsor our float and what a beautiful float it was. Our star performers had the crowd on their feet and even put some tears in their eyes.  Thank you to Phil Flowers who gave his usual fabulous performance as the host and as loving supporter of Life Long Dreams.

LLD performed for The Lion’s Club at the Blind Center on April 2.  The kids enjoyed a free spaghetti dinner.

Life Long Dreams received 19 scholarships from People First Organization to attend their 2009 Conference in Reno April 5, 6, & 7.  The scholarships included airfare, Circus Circus Hotel accommodations, conference admission, and meals.  The children will be  performing at the conference and all are looking forward to a grand time.   We hope to learn about new ways to advocate for our kids.

There will be an art show at Art From The Heart on Tenaya.  Our kids will have the opportunity to display and sell their works of art during the entire month of April. All proceeds from LLD kids art will be donated to Life Long Dreams.  Come check out these fabulous artists! A reception date will be announced.  Thank you to Theresa Villella and Barbara Sindelir for making this possible.

Ivan, Anthony, James and  Zach were the hit stars of the Cheyenne HS Talent Show..  The crowd screamed and clapped for these young super stars and even turned on their cell phones to wave in appreciation.  Way to go boys!

Thank you to our sponsors for their help and generous contributions:

M Resort, All Claims, Beldy Electric, Super Color-Suburban Graphic and all of our friends and families of Life Long Dreams for your continued support.
