PerryPalooza" at Bare Pool Lounge at The Mirage

Rock n' roll royalty converged Saturday night at Bare pool lounge at The Mirage to fete Perry Farrell, founder of Lollapalooza and legendary alternative rock band Jane’s Addiction, who celebrated his golden birthday with a “PerryPalooza” bash thrown by his wife, Etty Farrell.

The nighttime concert thrown at the normally tops-optional daytime pool included incredible collaborations and covers done by Farrell, Billy Idol, Deborah Harry, Juliette Lewis, Dave Navarro, Mark McGrath, Mickey Avalon, and Donovan Leitch. The rockfest also featured performances by Eric Avery (Jane’s Addiction), Stephen Perkins (Jane’s Addiction), Martyn Lenoble (Porno for Pyros), Peter Distefano (Porn for Pyros), guitarist Wayne Kramer, Tom Morello (Rage Against the Machine), Matt Sorum ( Guns ‘n Roses), Billy Morrison (The Cult), Sen Dog (Cypress Hill), Bobo (Cypress Hill), and Shepard Fairey. Actress Roseanne Arquette, clad in a sheer mesh bodysuit, also got into the spirit and sang along.

Musical highlights included Dave Navarro accompanying Billy Idol on "Rebel Yell" and the concert's finale, "Jane Says," performed by Perry and the all-star cast of rockers. The concert was interrupted as Farrell’s wife, and everyone on stage toasted Farrell with Dom Perignon before he was presented with a six foot long cake shaped like a lollipop created by Jean-Philippe Patisserie. Every rocker in the house jammed along as the entire concert sang along to an acoustic rock ‘n roll version of “Happy Birthday.”

David Spade was spotted enjoying the show with friends from his own cabana.
