Personal WSOP News

Two important and personal announcements about the 2009 World Series of Poker:
One: I have already won a $1000 seat! I belonged to the 3-K Poker Club, not to be confused with the K-K-K Poker Club! We played once a month for 10 months on the point system and our top three players, Sassy, Vera and yours truly will be playing the opening $1000 event which will be filled with weekend warriors! But if we can tip toe through the mine fields, there is some money to be made! A win, place or show would make our entire 3-K Poker Club happy as we will be playing for 50% of ourselves and 50% for the rest of the club.

Two: With the WSOP is just around the corner. I am toying with the idea of renting one or both of my spare bedrooms during this time. If you are interested, email me for the price and details. I prefer tenants who will be here for the whole five weeks rather than deal with moving in and moving out. I also will offer a 15% discount for the entire five-week reservation. I live 10.5 miles from the Rio. So if you're interested and don't smoke (anything), contact me at susieismspoker@aol.com. Kitchen, laundry, and pool facilities are included. After making the decision to make this post, I remembered something the "Secret" teaches. If you want something new in your life, be sure you have room in your life for something new. The example they gave was the gal who really wanted a new and lasting relationship - even a marriage or partnership. After discovering the Secret, she realized that if she met someone she did not have room in her house for a visitor, much less for someone to move in. Half of her garage was loaded with junk and she didn't have one empty closet or drawer. She made those arrangements and within months she met someone and they fell in love. She had room in her life and her home for a newcomer! This morning I decided to make room for tenants to have a room to move in to for five weeks. I found things that were lost, I found things I had forgotten about and in one old, worn out wallet ... I found eight 20 dollar bills! So, your room is waiting complete with empty drawers and a closet just for you.

I soon will be on my way for another wonderful Pendleton visit. If you keep up with my blog you know that I go twice a year and always have a wonderful time and win some money.
