Somebody
(who knows who) selected certain days to celebrate anything
and everything. For example, April 24 is National Penguin
Day (who knew?) Well, April 27 is National Prime Rib Day
and what better place to enjoy prime rib than Morton’s The
Steakhouse.
Morton's
The Steakhouse will offer its renowned bone-in double cut
Prime Rib on Monday, April 27 in honor of National Prime Rib
Day. Regularly served only on Fridays and Saturdays,
Morton's Prime Rib will be available to guests celebrating
the meat-lovers holiday and will give them an extra chance
to enjoy the thick, juicy cut of meat. All proceeds from the
Prime Rib dinners sold on National Prime Rib Day will be
donated to the Three Square Food Bank.
"It's
our way of giving back to the community while still allowing
our guests to enjoy themselves," said General Manager and
Maitre'd Daniel Hurst. "Who wouldn't want to enjoy a great
Prime Rib dinner, knowing that they're helping put food on
the shelves of an organization that feeds so many needy
people?"
Shipped
in directly from Chicago and served table-side to guests'
specifications, Morton's 28 ounce Prime Rib is accompanied
by au jus and homemade whipped horseradish.
Morton's
The Steakhouse is located at 400 East Flamingo Road. Dinner
is served from 5 p.m. until 11 p.m. Monday through Thursday,
4 p.m. until 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 5 p.m. until 10
p.m. on Sundays. For more information and reservations, call

Three
Square is the valley's food hub; a central location where
donated and rescued food is collected and distributed. The
organization provides bakery, produce, dairy, non-perishable
products and ready-to-eat meals to non-profit and
faith-based organizations. They also facilitate childhood
and senior nutrition programs and provide a place for
members of the community to meet, serve and collaborate as
part of the food solution.

A
national model project, Three Square is a community
collaborative partnership with the gaming industry,
businesses, non-profit agencies, food distributors, UNLV,
the CCSD, governmental entities, the media and hundreds of
volunteers. For more information, visit
