Jamie Kennedy Celebrates his Birthday at LAVO

Actor Jamie Kennedy celebrated his 39th birthday at LAVO on Tuesday night with girlfriend Jennifer Love Hewitt. The couple enjoyed a lengthy romantic dinner, holding hands and gazing at each other over the Italian specialties. Dressed in casual summer wear, Kennedy in post Memorial day whites and Hewitt in a body conscious tie dye dress, they made their way to the nightclub to continue the celebration. Upstairs at a VIP table on the dance floor they remained affectionate, as the Ghost Whisperer star did a few sexy dances for her birthday boy.

It was a night for couples at
LAVO, as Kevin Federline and girlfriend Victoria Prince also dined at the Italian hot spot before hitting the club where DJ Five was spinning.

Rapper Nelly Opens TAO

Club goers at TAO and LAVO were in for a surprise on Sunday. Rapper Nelly showed up just past midnight with a small entourage and a craving for Asian food. TAO opened up the closed kitchen to whip up some Kung Pao and Satay of Bass, which the group washed down with the three P’s, Pinot Grigio, Pinot Noir and Patron.

Post dinner Nelly headed over to LAVO, commanding a table on the dance floor. Once inside the club he was grabbed by DJ Vice, who gave him a shout out and played some of his hits. The real magic came when he Vice put on “Vegas Baby,” the new hit by Nelly, Usher and Jermaine Dupri. The crowed went crazy when hearing the line in the song, “We stumble outta TAO in the a.m. hurtin’.” Nelly hopped on the microphone and performed the song live.

Over at TAO, international superstar DJ Erick Morillo repeated his performance from last year, spinning for a packed crowd until long after the sun came up.

Earlier in the day, American Idol host Ryan Seacrest was spotted at TAO Beach.

Mindy Kaling celebrates her Birthday at LAVO

The Memorial Weekend festivities continued Saturday night at LAVO inside The Palazzo. Mindy Kaling of “The Office” had an early celebration of her upcoming 30th birthday with dinner at the Italian hot spot, a meal she said was the highlight of her Vegas visit. Joined by four college girlfriends, the sitcom star was so overwhelmed by the huge gold birthday cake she was presented she asked if she could share with the entire restaurant.

Also dining at separate tables at LAVO, Chazz Palminteri, New Orleans Saints Tight End Jeremy Shockey and on the Strip front terrace, actor Larenzo Tate from the

FX series “Rescue Me.”

Upstairs in the nightclub, NBA guard Danny Granger of the Indiana Pacers was joined by friends, drinking pineapple cocktails.
