The
Nevada State Democratic Party congratulates Andy Hafen, who was elected mayor of
Henderson in today’s municipal election.
“The Democratic Party is proud to have supported Andy Hafen in this campaign,”
said Phoebe Sweet, communications director for the party. “We would especially
like to thank the many Democratic volunteers who have worked so hard over the
past several months.”
Since the primary election, Democratic staff and volunteers have knocked doors and made phone calls continuously on Hafen’s behalf, and the efforts paid off.
The Democratic Party would also like to congratulate Kathleen Boutin, who won the Ward 3 seat on the Henderson City Council, and Anita Wood, who won the Ward 3 seat on the North Las Vegas City Council.
