  City Seeks Applicants For City Council Ward 4 Seat  
   

 
     
 
     
 

The City of North Las Vegas is accepting applications for the Ward 4 Council Seat, which will be vacated by Mayor-Elect Shari Buck on July 1, 2009.

 

Anyone interested in applying for this City Council seat, can review requirements for the position and obtain an application at the City’s website, www.cityofnorthlasvegas.com .  Applications also are available at the North Las Vegas City Clerk’s Office, 2200 Civic Center Drive, North Las Vegas, NV 89030.

 

To qualify, applicants must be eligible to register to vote, be a United States citizen at least 18 years of age with no felony convictions. Applicants must be residents of North Las Vegas City Council Ward 4 for at least 30 days prior to June 30, 2009.

 

Applications must be delivered in person to the City Clerk’s Office by 5 p.m. on June 30, 2009.  The City Council will review the applications and make the appointment at the City Council meeting on Wednesday, July 15, 2009.
