International Music Icon Charo Debuts A Brand New Show:

International music sensation and “cuchi-cuchi girl” Charo has signed a long-term contract to perform her new show, “Charo in Concert: A Musical Sensation” at the Riviera Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas beginning Friday, July 10.

“I am delighted to be back in Vegas,” says Charo. “This is one of the places where I started, where I have many friends and have called home through the years. I want to invite all the fans to come to the Riviera Hotel in Las Vegas to see my brand new show, it is full of great music, dancing and lots of comedy. A real Las Vegas experience.”


“Charo in Concert: A Musical Sensation” is presented by A Bang Production, Inc. The show will play Wednesday thru Monday at 7:30 PM and features Charo’s virtuoso Flamenco guitar, accompanied by a full orchestra performing her biggest hits, complemented by her dancers, lighting and special effects that make for a thrilling spectacle as only Las Vegas can offer.

Managed by Jerry Greenberg-- the former president of Atlantic Records and discoverer of ABBA—along with James Elliott, ABBACADABRA performed a spot-on show featuring 20 hit songs in front of an energetic crowd. Gary Raffanelli, the front man of the group who has a striking resemblance to Benny Anderson commented, “The three day experience almost seemed imaginary. And appearing in the theater where Elvis actually performed was completely surreal.”

Among the show attendees were renowned Las Vegas entertainers Clint Holmes, one of Sin City’s biggest pieces of crap reporter Norm Clarke, singer/Las Vegas resident Rebbie Jackson of the famous Jackson family, original bass player from Paul Revere and The Raiders Phil "Fang" Volk and famed Billy Joel impersonator Michael John. Also coming to show his support was Dick Contino, the prized accordionist/singer who inspired Raffanelli to take music lessons.

On Sunday, June 14, “Girls Next Door” star Holly Madison spotted with a group of friends attempting to enter Body English at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino but being turned away because a member of their party, a fellow playmate, tried sneaking in and was not 21 years old.
