Keep growing your desire to receive. Make it bigger and bigger and bigger. Don't aim for things that have endings. We never want to aim for limitation. We're always looking for a way to expand and grow every day of our lives well into our hundreds.

This is the secret of not aging. If we want to find the fountain of youth, it's simple. Find a way to always be a channel of the Light and to grow that funnel, grow that desire so we're a constant wellspring of wisdom and Light in the world.

My father, The Rav, is a perfect example of this. He's quicker today at 80+ years old, than he was 20 years ago. Despite challenges, many teachers half and a quarter his age have trouble keeping up with his rhythm. How is this possible? Because we're talking about a Kabbalist. In his mind he always pushing himself younger and younger, always renewing his desires. He never stops looking for a way to reveal Light in the world. Nothing is going to stop him, so he doesn't grow old, he grows infused with more Light.

Today, shoot for the stars! Keep finding new ways to reveal yourself in the world.

When practicing transformation, don't be afraid of failing. We actually reveal more Light for ourselves and for the world when we fall and then get up again. If we never fall, we stay exactly where we are. And while time may move us forward physically, spirituality we never advance. Failing may batter our self-esteem, triggering depression or anxiety, which are natural reactions to a difficult situation. But respond by being kind to yourself.

Today, don't beat yourself up. In fact, celebrate moments of falling. Every no brings you closer to a yes.

Overheard this today during coverage of a sporting match:

"That's the true sign of greatness: hanging in there when you're not doing something well."

Today, acknowledge what you feel "stuck at" and ride the wave. Don't let the Dip fool you.

You know those times when we catch ourselves getting reactive, and we promise the other person we're going to "remain calm?" I bring this up because although we mean well, too often we stay stuck in the matrix of judgment and resentment.

Today, don't work so hard to "remain" calm. Instead, decide to stay patient and not to get mad in the first place.

We are a guilty generation. We hold onto things for way too long. This is a trick of the negative side, because as long as we stay stuck in remorse, we can't grow forward.

Feel the pain of what you did, yes. But then move on. Don't lug it around with you every where you go, every relationship you enter.

Today — remember this — you are POWERLESS as long as you're giving your guilt energy. Make amends, learn your lesson, and then please please please get your power back.

A psychological study came out a few years ago showing people regret the things they didn't do more than the things they did do.

One of the reasons we miss opportunities is, even if we do know what we want, we get overwhelmed and sidetracked by thoughts of what it takes to get there.

Today, there's no such thing as "I don't know how I'm going to do it." Claim what you want and know that you'll find a way. Choose action over inaction.

How many times do we have a predicament or a good idea and the only way to make it real for ourselves is to ask other people what they think. While it's important to reach out, it's equally important to trust our gut and go with what we know.

Today, follow your own advice.
