Brazilian Steakhouse and Grille - Palette Pleasure at Planet Hollywood

The supreme delight of having a fabulous, succulent meal from Brazil is now a reality at the Churrascaria Pampas.  Located at Planet Hollywood, this beautifully and authentically anointed and decorated restaurant has all the ambiance that will lure you to try all of its treasures and pleasures of the palette.

The gauchos (our cowboys) of Brazil used to take freshly cut meats and grill them out in the open on the pampas of Brazil (our Great Plains).  But the difference is remarkable between the American and South American versions of food preparation!  The décor of the restaurant is South American, and the attention given to the patrons is extra-special!  You feel like a very special guest when you enter this establishment.  The atmosphere is modern with wood ceilings that seem to reach into the skies, carved wooden columns, flooring of stone, and an equally fine selection of wines from the enclosed wine cellar.

There is a buffet that comes with your meal – not an ordinary salad bar – but a cornucopia of delights and unusual side dishes for your own choices.  There are many selections to make in the dinner menu – but they also offer great lunch selections for your enjoyment.

We arrived for a dinner hour that offers a Surf and Turf Rodizio, a Meat Rodizio, each of these are price inclusive, or, if you prefer, a single plate grilled selection.

We selected the Surf and Turf and were absolutely indulged in choices of scallops wrapped in bacon, langoustines (giant shrimp) glazed with garlic butter, fabulous salmon (admittedly – some of the best salmon we have ever tasted), tempura cod, and a wide variety of meats that included filet mignon, New York steak, picanha, roasted pork, roasted lamb, grilled chicken, smoked ham with pineapple, Brazilian ham, turkey (wrapped in bacon), that were all hand carved by a wait staff who personally brought the choices to our table and sliced them in front of us for our plates.   The huge offerings are presented on large sticks – which are reminiscent of the way original meats and fish were roasted and cooked in open fire pits.

Our dinner began with Mojitos that were mixed South American style – we also would suggest also trying the Caipirinhas – a traditional Brazilian cocktail.  Our deserts were Grand Marinier covered flan – its taste too incredible to even stop thinking of how our taste buds exploded after our Brazilian feast.  The coffees, a double espresso, and a cappuccino were of the deep, rich flavors that are imbued in South American beans.

This restaurant is one that will enchant you with pleasure – the paradise of PAMPAS is uniquely, decadently, delicious!

PAMPAS is very conveniently located at the Harmon Avenue entrance of the Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood – therefore, just valet your car, walk in the entrance and begin to indulge your olfactory desires – Brazilian style!

Call (702) 737 – 4748 for reservations for PAMPAS. The restaurant also has private rooms for events that can range from weddings, parties of all sorts, meetings (special equipment can be provided upon request) and PAMPAS is open seven days a week, all year through, from 11:30 am to 10 pm.

Check out this highly rated restaurant at www.pampasusa.com.   The best part is that you don’t have to dress for dinner – this is the quintessential locale for your casual attire and a comfortable and memorable experience.

Enjoy – enjoy – enjoy – PAMPAS is unforgettable and the food is superbly delicious!
