Golden Tavern Group

It is summer with the 4th of July holiday weekend, cookouts, picnics, camping and getting together with friends.  One of the most fun foods you can bring is from the Golden Tavern Group, which includes PT’s Pub, PT’s Place, Sierra Gold and PT’s Gold. They offer “Bucket" and "Party Bucket,” filled with incredible bar food.

The introduction of new menu specials for their “Bucket” (an order and a half) and “Party Bucket” (for groups of three or more) include wings, boneless wings, chicken fingers, popcorn chicken, beef sliders, grilled chicken sliders, and coo coo or Twister™ fries.  All items are served either plain or in any signature sauce requested.  Fries are available as garlic, cheese, chili cheese or Cajun.

I had the beef sliders which is reminiscent of White Castle burgers but with more meat, red onion and just oh-so-good.  On the side, I tried their signature coo coo fries that have a serious spicy kick to them.  I can’t wait to try all of the menu items since I love bar food. Something else, you don’t have to order buckets to take-out but you can enjoy them while hanging out in one of your favorite PT’s Tavern location.

Buckets range in price from $5.99 to $17.99 and are available for take-out or dining in.

PT’s was recently voted “Best Bar Food” in Las Vegas by locals in the annual Las Vegas Review-Journal’s “The Best of Las Vegas 2009” poll.

PT’s tavern locations also offer “Half-Off Happy Hour” from 5 to 7 p.m. and midnight to 4 a.m. every day with specials including 50 percent off regular priced pizzas, such as classic pepperoni pizza, cheese pizza and BBQ chicken pizza, and 50 percent off on all drinks including Jack Daniel’s, Miller Lite, Bud Light, Ketel One and Red Bull.

PT’s and Sierra Gold’s thin crust pizza is made from hand pressed dough made fresh daily that is then combined with the perfect amount of sauce and cheese along with toppings made to order.  The delicious pizza recipe was crafted by Golden Gaming, Inc. Corporate Executive Chef Joe Romano. This man is a genius!

PT’s Gold offers a new brunch menu available at its Anthem and Bicentennial Parkway location.  In addition to its regular menu items, PT’s Gold also offers breakfast specials that include eggs Benedict, banana stuffed French toast, oatmeal and fresh fruit, jumbo breakfast sandwich and blueberry, chocolate chip or banana pancakes.  Brunch is available from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. for $5.99.

Complete with casual dining, premium spirits and advanced gaming technology, there are numerous high-definition flat plasma screen TVs, guests can catch all of their favorite sports action.

Sierra Gold is a casually upscale tavern that features refined décor in a comfortable atmosphere. Amenities include a VIP ultra-lounge with a fireplace, grand wood trussed ceiling and a plush billiard room. In addition to the VIP room, the Sierra Gold ultra-tavern on S. Jones includes a banquet room that holds more than 200 seats comfortably and is furnished with full meeting amenities including audio and visual set-ups, plasma screen televisions and a 12-seat private conference room. Sierra Gold is also known for its world-class bar with an expansive wine and cocktail menu in addition to a variety of premium brew options. Sierra Gold ultra-taverns are located at 1341 W. Warm Springs Rd., 6929 Aliante Pkwy and 6515 S. Jones Rd.
