the City of North Las Vegas in its 10th Annual Independence Day Jubilee from 6
p.m. to 9:30 p.m. on Thursday, July 2, at Seastrand Park, 6330 Camino Eldorado.
This year’s free event will be a tribute to the nation’s military troops.
The jubilee includes
state-of-the-art fireworks provided by Pyrotecnico. The event also includes
children’s activities, two sets of live entertainment and food vendors.
For safety reasons, pets,
glass bottles, umbrellas and umbrella chairs, fireworks, tents, tables and
portable grills are prohibited at this event.
Gates open at 5 p.m. Parking
is limited.

Fire Department Presents
Fireworks Safety Program
North
Las Vegas firefighters will present demonstrations and provide information about
safely handling fireworks at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, June 30, at Fire Station 52,
4110 Losee Road.
The
demonstrations will include setting off M-80s, rockets and other illegal
fireworks to show how hazardous they can be. They also will show safe and sane
alternatives.

Municipal Court Offers Speedy Way
To
Pay Traffic Tickets
The North Las Vegas Municipal
Court is proud to announce a new service that allows people to pay their traffic
tickets online through a secure system on the City’s website,
www.cityofnorthlasvegas.com.
“We are constantly looking
for ways to better serve our customers and provide them a quality experience,”
Court Administrator Debbie Miller said. “We are happy to offer a fast, secure
and easy way for people to take care of their traffic tickets.”
To access the online payment
system, users must go to the Online Services menu from the homepage, then
select, “Look Up Municipal Court Case” from the drop-down menu. Users then can
click the link to enter the Municipal Court Case Search to submit the
information from their ticket and follow the prompt to pay.
The court accepts Visa,
