“The Ascent of Money”

Step back in time with “The Ascent of Money” host Niall Ferguson as he examines the history of money and its influence on the world’s development through the ages. The four part series airs every Wednesday at 9 p.m. on Vegas PBS Channel 10 and 10.1, from July 8 to July 29.
“Remembering the Holocaust: Las Vegas Survivors Tell Their Stories”

Nearly 350 Holocaust survivors call Las Vegas home, and of these, eight share their lives and experiences in “Remembering the Holocaust: Las Vegas Survivors Tell Their Stories.” The new program debuts on Thursday, July 23 at 9 p.m. on Vegas PBS Channel 10 and 10.1.
“The Mormons”

“The Mormons” is the creation of renowned filmmaker Helen Whitney who shares the history and faith of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints with viewers. As part of the program, Whitney provides an exclusive look at Mormon archives and interviews several church leaders, including the late LDS President Gordon B. Hinckley. Other individuals interviewed include those who have left the church, as well as historians and scholars. Vegas PBS airs the four-hour series “The Mormons” on Sunday, July 19 at 4 p.m. on Channel 10 and 10.1.
