All Active Clark County Democrats Should VOTE!

What is more important, winning an election - or, doing the right thing to ensure every Democrat gets to vote (at the risk of ticking off a few elite friends)? That's a no brainer - I'd rather see ALL Democrats get to vote (even if it means I don't get elected) – I really don’t want to win if the election is NOT conduced openly and fairly for ALL Democrats!

Sadly, we now know that the Clark County Democratic Party Central Committee List is incomplete and has not been kept up as we had hoped! It's like the déjà vu nightmare scenario when the Nevada State Democratic Party failed to get the full list of Presidential Delegates consolidated, published and issued to all the Nevada County Chairs!

We certainly don’t want to go through another chaotic, frustrating and embarrassing day, a way too long day, like we did at Bally's!

So, I have asked the Clark County Democratic Election Commission for the upcoming 2009 - 2011 CCDPCC Officer Elections to let ALL Active Democrats Vote - and that's only fair, and just the right thing to do!

Not one of our active Democrats should be turned away from the polls on this Saturday, July 25th, 2009 when the polls will be open from 9am to 2pm in the Atrium Area outside the Clark County Democratic Party Headquarters, 2320 Paseo Del Prado, Suite B 110, Las Vegas, Nevada 89102

Hopefully, this will go smoothly over the 5 hour period and we won't have to re-schedule it at the Thomas & Mack and ask Larry Lomax and the Clark County Election Department to help out - again?

Remember to follow the rules folks as no "electioneering" for any of the candidates is allowed inside the Atrium Area where the voting will be conducted - let's all be polite and professional - PLEASE!

When you enter, just go to the check-in table and the good volunteers of the Election Committee will check to see if your name is on the "official" Clark County Democratic Central Committee list - if not, that's a good time to ask to be placed on the list!

Then, ask them to check for your name on your local neighborhood Democratic Club or Caucus lists too! If it's not there, ask to be signed up right there and then - what a great way to build up and correct our Democratic Club and Caucus membership lists!

Even if you're not on any of these important membership lists - every Clark County Democrat that was an elected Presidential Caucus Delegate (for Edwards, Clinton or Obama during the January 19th, 2008 Presidential Caucuses) should be allowed to vote too!

Not on the list, not on any of the lists? That's O.K., just ask nicely for the Election Committee Volunteers to check in the official V.A.N. (Voter Activation Network) data-base of the Clark County Election Department - this is THE official data file for all registered voters in Clark County and proves that you are a registered Democrat and voted in the last election - after all, it is the fine, hard-working active, dedicated, voting Democrats like you that truly brought us our most recent victories!

So, please PASS THE WORD to everyone - ALL ACTIVE DEMOCRATS SHOULD VOTE for the next group of Clark County Leaders of the Democratic Party - it is YOUR political party and this is THE KIND OF CHANGE WE ALL NEED NOW!

Don't let anyone disenfranchise you or your neighbors - and if they want someone to blame - tell them to blame me (feel free to use my name personally) - and, tell them to blame the other people like me - the patriotic framers of the United States Constitution and the Founders of America! Hey, tell them to blame President Lincoln and President Obama too!
