A Victorious Gospel Brunch
F or a place to celebrate on Sunday with uplifting music, good food, roomy booths and tables and plenty of parking, it is the Victorious Gospel Brunch every Sunday starting at 1 p.m. at the Greek Isles Hotel & Casino, located at 305 Convention Center Drive. A side note, the hotel is scheduled to change its name to Clarion, but don’t let that stop you, the brunch will continue each Sunday.
Gospel vocalists, Victorious, featuring Tony Arias and Tim Searcy along with the Victorious Singers, energizes their audience with spiritual music, humor and sharing their joy. It is an unbelievable show. Arias and Search have a vocal range and stage presence that memorizes you. The songs join with your soul as if you are soaring to new heights.
Along with a great show, there is a feast.
The Champagne Brunch includes a carving station, peel and eat shrimp, an omelet station, and a wide selection of traditional Brunch offerings for both breakfast and lunch.
Breakfast selections include scrambled eggs, biscuits and gravy, apple wood-smoked bacon, sausage patties, home fries and French toast.
Lunch selections offer breaded catfish, fried chicken, mac and cheese, salads, vegetable and fruit tray. As if that wasn’t enough food, there are decadent desserts including Tiramisu and bite-size cheesecakes in different flavors.
Beverages include champagne, mimosas, orange juice, coffee, tea, ice tea and other selections.
The service is impeccable, and along with the meal and entertainment, it is a dining experience that makes you feel good and ready to take on the world.
This is some of the best food I have tasted (and I taste a lot of food). The entrées are hot, tasty and just good comfort and there is plenty of it. So be entertained and well fed at A Victorious Gospel Brunch.
