All That And A Bag Of Chips!

I
am sure that all you single ladies out there can relate to the hard task of finding Mr. Right? Yes, we want all that and the bag of chips…meaning we still want it all! Good looks, wealth, intelligence, manners and intrigue.

I find the older I get the harder this becomes. Why is that? Is it me? Or has the fish tank become much smaller? Well, I think it’s the latter. Not as much to choose from on the fishing expedition.

I have spoken with a number of women both friends and associates on this subject. Seems a number of you like the idea of online dating services. I would be interested in hearing from you ladies that have braved this latest craze with success. We all see the ads on TV where Mr. Right and Ms. Right are bragging about their incredible relationship. Is this for real? If it’s happened for you, please let me know. Would love to pass on the good news to my readership.

What seems to be important overall is that we love ourselves and I don’t mean...hmmmm “that way” (don’t blame you for allowing that to come to mind! Ha!), but respecting ones self and enjoying our own company. In fact, that’s the bar to set for any man. “You, Mr. Wonderful, must love and respect me as much as I do!”

Hang in there my sistas! It will happen.

Hope you all will visit us in the next two weeks here in New Orleans for Jazz Fest. A wonderful time will be had by all with fantastic music. Aretha is here this year singing one of my favorites...“Respect”...yes!

Kisses, Gennifer Flowers
