Grand Re-Opening of the Official Web Site for the
Nevada Holistic Chamber of Commerce

ear Members of the NVHCC and others interested in becoming a member.
It is time for the Grand Re-Opening of the official Web site for the Nevada Holistic Chamber of Commerce!
As you may have heard our old site has been hijacked and we have had to rebuild it with a new domain name over the last two weeks. The new site is mostly complete and is ready for you to update your profiles.
We have transferred your registration information to the new site, which is at thenevadaholisticchamberofcommerce.com/ (you can also reach it at www.nevadaholisticchamber.com—our short version for print).
The new site has been improved with updated software and a better organized Member’s Directory. We will be adding new features over the next few weeks.
Right now what you need to know is that we have added about thirty new categories for identifying your business focus (see the list below). If you have suggestions for new ones, please let us know. We want this directory to be better than ever and of true benefit to you.
Please go to the link above to update your profile. Here’s what to do when you get there:
Currently you will be able to view your current published profile only if you are logged out (we are working on a bug), but you can update if easily when logged in.
- Click on Member Directory in the left margin menu.
- In the upper right there is a link that reads “Search Users”—click on it.
- Use that form to search for your first or last name.
- When you find your profile it will show you your user name in parentheses. Copy that so you can use it to retrieve your password (in rebuilding the site all passwords were lost).
- Find the Community Login box in the lower left margin and click on the link “Forgot Login” next to the login button and use the form for “Lost Password.” A new password will be sent to the email you have on record with us.
- If you don’t get the new password through the email address you expected it to go to write to the webmaster at webmaster@thenevadachamberofcommerce.com and we will set you up properly again.
- Once you get your new password return to the site and login. The Member Tools menu box will appear in the upper left column.
- Click “Edit Your Profile.” You will be able to change your password and update all your information.
We have an article “Profile Recommendations” in that same box with some important recommendations for you to best present your self and your business in the directory. Remember this is public, so you want to look your best.
Thank you for your patience with this process, an unfortunate necessity that we intend to turn into a beneficial thing for everyone. We will be building up the visibility of the site to the public and we encourage everyone to contribute articles to help attract attention to yourselves and everyone in the holistic community.
