May 10, 2010 – North Las Vegas, NV – The City’s Utilities Department in partnership with CH2M HILL will hold an open house at the North Las Vegas Water Reclamation Facility construction site. The $240 million project is scheduled to be complete by May 2011, providing state-of-the-art wastewater treatment. The project is expected to boost economic development in North Las Vegas, and already has created 500 construction jobs. It will allow the City to advance and manage its vision of growth, and will extend Southern Nevada’s water resources.
