W hat do Los Angeles, Miami, Minneapolis, New York, Philadelphia and Las Vegas have in common? These cities, known for their culinary hot spots and even hotter chefs, are all participating in Share Our Strength’s Taste of the Nation®, to fight childhood hunger. Las Vegas will shine with its celebrity chefs, premiere restaurants and renowned mixologists June 2 when the 18th annual Taste of the Nation will be held at Rain Nightclub at the Palms Casino Resort.
Taste of the Nation Las Vegas Restaurant Chairman Chef Carlos Guia of The Country Club—a New American Steakhouse, is working with more than 30 of the city’s finest chefs and restaurants to impress guests attending the event with their signature dishes and specialties and paired with great wines and signature cocktails.
“It is an honor to continue our involvement with this nationwide movement to end childhood hunger in America,” Guia said. “The finest of Las Vegas’ culinary world comes together during Taste of the Nation and helps the children in our community who suffer from hunger every day.”
