Founder Of Nevada Holistic Chamber Resumes President’s Role As The Chamber Is Going Through A Rebirth
T
he founder of the Nevada Holistic Chamber of Commerce, Mitzi Reed, has resumed role of President after two years. She has always retained the Chairperson role. “I felt that the Holistic Chamber was not going anywhere the last two years under the previous president, so I decided to rebirth it.”
 Mitzi Reed started the Nevada Holistic Chamber of Commerce in 2006 and in less than two months had 100 members. Mitzi saw a need for the holistic community and wanted to help the holistic professionals evolve their business and gain credibility. The Holistic Chamber is the voice for the Holistic Community. The Nevada Holistic Chamber of Commerce is a business alliance whose time has come. Individuals and organizations are calling for a new vision of the meaning and purpose of work. Companies are finding ways to integrate conscious business practices into their day-to-day operations.
We are a network of business organizations and individuals dedicated to healing people, our society and the planet. We provide resources for people to learn about and locate holistic resources that can help them physically, emotionally and spiritually. This is an organization for business people of all professions who are committed to a holistic approach to business and life. The purpose of Nevada Holistic Chamber of Commerce is to help holistically oriented businesses and individuals support and help one another to develop their businesses and practices.
Why is the Nevada Holistic Chamber of Commerce a major catalyst? Now that we are seeing and experiencing the downfall of the hyper-consumer marketplace, we are poised to help mainstream consumers find what’s next, what’s missing. Green-holistic-sustainable entrepreneurs are the leaders for our new sustainable culture.
The Nevada Holistic Chamber of Commerce brings together like-minded businesses, professionals and practitioners to strengthen our message and to encourage more people to try out larger lifestyle changes: healthier careers, healthier bodies and minds, healthier communities.
We are holding our first Holistic Business Summit in October 2010 where we are bringing top speakers in to share with others how to grow their business holistically in this new changing economy.
