The Liberace Foundation & Museum Offers Discounted Admission For Summer

Discounted Admission is $10 for Adults and $8 for Seniors and Students

icking off during the scorching summer months, the Liberace Foundation & Museum is offering a discounted admission rate to beat the heat. Beginning Monday, June 21 and running to Labor Day, Monday, Sept. 6, admission for adults is $10, while seniors and students may enter for $8.

For $12, guests may take advantage of the “Movie at the Museum” lunch special on Mondays and Fridays, which includes the designated movie for the day, a sandwich, chips, drink and dessert. Guests may enjoy the movie and a snack for $7 or the movie alone for $5.

The Liberace Foundation & Museum is open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday and noon to 4 p.m. Sunday. Discounted admission prices are $10 for adults and $8 for seniors 65 and older and students with a valid school ID. Children age 12 and under are admitted free of charge when accompanied by an adult. Admission includes a complimentary one-hour guided tour 11 a.m. or 2 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 1 p.m. Sunday.

The Liberace Museum offers complimentary shuttle service to and from several Las Vegas Strip hotels daily. Participating hotels include Bally’s, Bellagio, Treasure Island, The Mirage, Flamingo and Excalibur. A full shuttle schedule is available online.

Movies at the Museum
12:30 p.m. Mondays and Fridays
Tickets are $12 for lunch and movie

Guests may visit the Cabaret Showroom at The Museum for a screening of one of Liberace’s movies and lunch from the Liberace Café. For $12, guests may enjoy the “Movie at the Museum” lunch special which includes the designated movie for the day, a sandwich, chips, drink and dessert. The Cabaret at The Liberace Museum Presents “Liberace and Me,” starring Philip Fortenberry. Guests may enjoy Philip Fortenberry, an extraordinary artist and renowned pianist, improvisational composer and cast member of “Jersey Boys,” as he performs his intimate acoustic cabaret-style piano performance, “Liberace and Me,” at the glittering Liberace Museum with performances three days a week. Fortenberry entertains with his versatile styles that encompass a wide range of musical genres.

Ali Spuck “Here I Am”
1 p.m. Wednesdays
Tickets are $15

A Los Angeles Ovation-nominated singer and actress, Ali Spuck takes guests on a journey of music and comedy inspired by her experiences, family and friends. Audiences will be entranced and delighted by her gregarious spirit. Song selections include classic Broadway, new contemporary cabaret hits and the romantic Gershwin songs from the Golden Age of music.

Valeri Glava
1 p.m. Thursdays
Tickets are $15

Valeri Glava received an intense education in music, specializing in the violin and received his degree as a “Violin Soloist.” By the age of 25, he was a professor at the Institute of Art in Chisinau, Moldova and traveled the world performing in concert and as conductor and soloist in various orchestras. As a master violinist, Glava has received such honors as “Entertainer of the Year,” “Best New Show” and “Instrumentalist of the Year.” The energy and charisma of Glava’s style draws from his worldwide repertoire of music.

Kristofer McNeeley: “Holding the Space”
2:30 p.m. Sundays
Tickets are $15

Kristofer McNeeley of the Las Vegas Strip’s hit show, Jersey Boys, will perform weekly at the Liberace Museum in a solo show entitled “Holding the Space.” The 45-minute acoustic guitar and piano set will include his interpretations of material by some of the great singers and songwriters of the ’60s, ’70s, and ’80s to include Elton John, Billy Joel, John Denver, Phil Collins, Burt Bacharach and Fleetwood Mac among others. Listeners can enjoy an afternoon of mellow, relaxing, meditative musical reflection and an intimate look into McNeeley’s journey as an artist and the music that has shaped his work as a composer.

RagTag Entertainment: “The Little Things You Do Together”
3 p.m. Tuesday, July 13
Tickets are $10

The Cabaret at the Liberace Museum presents “The Little Things You Do Together” featuring performances by members of RagTag Entertainment. RagTag Entertainment, a group of performers from the Las Vegas Strip and throughout the country, formed with the idea that “the performing arts are for everybody, not just those who can afford them.” These performers have gathered to share their passion and introduce the performing arts and enrich lives through various modes of performance. Throughout the year, RagTag performers give free performances at schools and other venues throughout the Valley.

Kaci Machacyk
7:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 21
Tickets are $20 in advance, $25 at the door

Kaci Machacyk is a singer, dancer, actress, songwriter and local Web television host living in Las Vegas. She has had the honor of playing such diverse roles as Sally Bowles in “Cabaret,” Brutus in “Julius Caesar”and Maude in “Two Gentleman of Lebowski.” Machacyk has also sung on national television with pop idol Deborah Gibson and studied in Oxford with the prestigious British American Drama Academy.

Randy Riggle: “Nostalgia”
7 p.m. Wednesday, July 28
Tickets are $20 in advance, $25 at the door

The nationally touring production of “Nostalgia” takes audiences down memory lane with a ’57 Chevy remembering the times and people who changed our lives. Guests will be taken back to that fateful day at Pearl Harbor and travel through the ’40s, ’50s and ’60s with stand-up comedian Randy Riggle as the tour guide on a trip filled with songs and laughs in this 90-minute show. Riggle entertains audiences with stories, dancing and pantomime. His observational humor is complimented with more than 50 impersonations and a special tribute to veterans. The revue is accompanied by a multi-media slide presentation.
