“You are no longer a person; you have become a concept.”—Bernard-Henri Levy’s tribute to his obscenely wealthy mistress

The Gersten Big Leap. My June 21st posting on friend Peter Gersten’s Leap of Faith (LoF) at 11:11 on December 21, 2012, has gotten the most comments ever. Homo Sapiens bloodlust (The Reptilian Brain—a.k.a. The R-Complex—is responsible for species instinctual behaviors involved in aggression, dominance, territoriality, and ritual displays) hasn’t been culled from our DNA just yet—no matter what New Agers think about our consciousness becoming more spiritual and enlightened.

Eric Lash emailed me: “Please remind Peter Gersten to let his fans know they will need to purchase Red Rock Passes at the Sedona Circle-K (and other places) or the police will be busy ticketing them prior to his “jump”! My driver’s license expires on Dec 12, 2012. Do you think I need to renew it?”

If you live in Las Vegas and want to join the LV Caravan to Gersten’s Big Leap, let me know.

Peter sent me an email answering some critics and detailing his plan. He objected to my ancient photo of him, so he sent me these. Peter is by the bush on top of Bell Rock wearing a white sweatshirt. I also culled a more recent photo of Peter in his LoF white sweatshirt from his Facebook page.

In brief, here is Peter’s response:

Victoria, Considering that I spent the weekend responding to the ridicule I was receiving on a thread in one of Randi’s forums, your words were a breath of fresh air. Interestingly what the thread and your article drove home was the fact that my leap of faith (LoF), though secondary to the portal opening, was attracting most of the attention—and it was negative. And though I believe that any form of attention is beneficial—I’d rather discuss 11:11, the winter solstice 2012, Sedona, Bell Rock, and the portal’s opening than defend my sanity to a bunch of people who enjoy telling me what I can and can’t do with my own life—including when I can end it.

Apparently my LoF—the details of which are still unknown to me—automatically places me in the same group as Heaven’s Gate, Jonestown, and the dreaded Darwin Awards (as stated by various posters on that thread).

[Another photo of Peter on top of Bell Rock and he’s still wearing white.]

On December 21, 2012 an 11:11 portal will open at Bell Rock in Sedona, AZ. The more people who actually witness the event, the less likely it will be for the power elite to manipulate or deny it happened.

I am only targeting the 11:11 people because Bell Rock is an 11:11 portal. I am sure there are other ‘doorways’ throughout the planet, but each takes you to a different place. The 11:11 portal takes you to the center of the galaxy and the source of our holographic simulation. Though I will not be actively advertising my LoF—at least not until the beginning of 2012—it has come to my attention that a LoF might be what opens the portal. So be it.

But I am hoping that the portal will open on its own and my LoF was either bringing the witnesses to Sedona or hopefully entering the portal once it appears.

But if a portal hasn’t opened by 11:11p.m. on 2012’s winter solstice I will know what to do.

It’s not a crime to commit suicide. Who would you prosecute? It is a crime in some states to help someone commit suicide.

As we get closer to 2012 and the authorities realize the significance of what I am asking people to do and why, I will be attacked as being mentally unstable and a threat to myself. But I have planned for all such contingencies.

And I agree with our anonymous mutual friend [okay, its Patrick Huyghe] that there would be a problem if 50,000+ people try to come to Sedona for the WS—though not because the police will prevent me from either getting to the top of Bell Rock or attempting a LoF—but because of health, traffic, and safety concerns.

Several months ago I emailed the Mayor’s Office in Sedona attaching a copy of the Red Rock News from 1987 discussing the 5,000+ who came to Sedona for the Harmonic Convergence. I suggested that they need to prepare for at least 10 times that amount for the 2012WS. An uninvited 5,000 in 1987 should easily translate to an invited 50,000 in 2012 when I am finished sending out the invitations. The 11:11 group page on Facebook alone has over a half million friends. Though I mentioned I was an attorney I never heard back from any city official. So much for being prepared.

I am sure that there are military/intelligence people who know about the opening and will try to exploit the situation. But I don’t call Sedona my sanctuary or nothing.

And lastly I am not describing some stunt; there will be no parachute or hang glider. But I am very grateful for the two-year exclusionary period.

It was nice to hear from you again. You have always been one of my more enjoyable memories. PAG

Chuck Walker on Climbing Bell Rock. “The logistics of jumping off Bell Rock on Dec 21, 2012: For one thing this is a 270 million year old butte that evolves constantly. I personally climbed to its lofty top in 1992 but in 2007 couldn’t figure out how in the world I did it.

“At 70 years old one [Peter Gersten] would have to be in really good shape to even make the summit. Once there, can you kill yourself? Is it high enough? Definitely.

“But is it high enough that you won’t splat into a slow, painful death? Not necessarily, depending on where you land. You might just hit a few outcropping of rocks and moan for Obamacare until the EMTs got to you. Somehow I don’t think the “Galactic Brotherhood” designed this as the only way to achieve transcendence.

“This leap of faith makes Heaven’s Gate look logical, and they all got new sneakers! Fortunately, if the world doesn’t end on Dec 21, 2012 any Bell Rock jumper would certainly (and posthumously) win the Darwin Awards given out in 2013.”—Chuck Walker

Jeff McBride on December 21, 2012. We had dinner with mystic magician Jeff McBride and I mentioned 2012. Jeff had a hysterical visual explanation of what happened to the Mayan priests working on that infamous calendar.

Jeff, that needs to be put on YouTude asap!

Jeff then said that 11:11 on December 21, 2012 is going to be another disappointment—nothing is going to happen—just like the Harmonic Convergence debacle.

The Harmonic Convergence was supposed to be a global awakening to love and unity through divine transformation. It was the fulfillment of the prophecy of Quetzalcoatl, known as the Thirteen Heavens and Nine Hells. The prophecy stated that following the ninth hell, humanity would know and experience an unprecedented New Age of Peace. The Hell cycle ended on August 16, 1987; the Harmonic Convergence began on August 17. Thus began the projected twenty-five year culmination of the 5,125 year Great Cycle of History, as well as the 26,000-year cycle of evolution, both slated to end in 2012.

Les Grossman. If you saw “Tropic Thunder” you were mesmerized by Tom Cruise’s show-stopping cameo. After the landmark 2010 MTV Movie Awards, Paramount Pictures and MTV Films announced that they are set to develop a movie around mega-producer Les Grossman. The announcement comes on the heels of Grossman’s groundbreaking and visionary production of the 2010 MTV Movie Awards. Tom Cruise, along with Ben Stiller and Stuart Cornfeld will produce and have secured the life rights to Grossman.

Grossman has most recently mentored talents such as Rob Pattinson and Taylor Lautner. In 2008, Grossman was introduced to the masses by Stiller in the comedy “Tropic Thunder” where the famed producer had a cameo playing himself.

Said Ben Stiller: “Les Grossman’s life story is an inspiring tale of the classic human struggle to achieve greatness against all odds. He has assured me he plans to quote, ‘F**king kill the sh*t out of this movie and make Citizen f**king Kane look like a piece of crap home movie by the time we are done.’ I am honored to be working with him.”

When asked what the screenplay was about Grossman responded: “To quote my great friend Kirk Lazarus, ‘I don’t read the script, the script reads me.’”

Adam Goodman, Paramount Film Group President said, “Everything I learned in this business, I’ve learned from Les. I started out as his assistant, and from the first day he threw his desk at me when I got his lunch order wrong, I have loved him like a father. I am forever grateful to Ben and Stuart Cornfeld and their ability to secure his highly coveted life rights.”

Tom Cruise is said to be in talks to portray Grossman in the film.

EdgeScience Magazine: Number 3. EdgeScience is a terrific new magazine from the SSE edited by Patrick Huyghe. Scientific knowledge is still full of unknowns. Since I am still a New Yorker though living in Las Vegas, I recall the AIDS hysteria. Remember when everyone was blaming Haiti?

I also kept quoting—no one cared—the Rolling Stone Magazine 1992 article, THE ORIGIN OF AIDS by Tom Curtis. EdgeScience has two important cover stories, “HIV Does Not Cause AIDS,” and “The Reincarnation of Mediumship Research.” At the 2010 SSE Meeting Stephen Braude presented a fascinating talk: “Preliminary Investigation of a Spiritist Séance Group in Germany.” (www.scientificexploration.org/edgescience/)

Electricity of the Mind: The Anomalist #14. The Anomalist is an original publication from Anomalist Books edited by Patrick Huyghe and Dennis Stacy. Besides running Anomalist Books, EdgeScience, and The Anomalist, Patrick works on zero-point energy every weekend. “Electricity of the Mind” has Ian Simmons as guest editor.

There are two articles I found especially informative:

In “A Lesson in Speculative Archaeology: The Case of the Moche” Cameron Blount examines the implications of archaeological relics of Peru’s mysterious Moche culture, and Patrick Gyger’s “Satan for a Master.” Gyger is an expert on European witchcraft, and uses the ‘Black Books’ of Fribourg to understand the mindset behind witch trials in the late 15th Century. Anomalist Books, Trade Paperback, $12.95.

The Real L Word. I don’t know why Showtime ended the fabulous, sexually daring “The L Word.” Maybe the actresses wanted more money? At least until their shows become hits—like that awful Kate Gosselin—reality performers come cheap or even work for free! Ilene Chaikin, The L Word’s creator, has come up with a reality version titled, “The Real L Word” that runs every Sunday night at 10 p.m.

Ah, hot lesbian sex with only beautiful women. No fat, ungroomed ladies in work boots. It is all L.A. lipstick lesbians with high-powered jobs and boob jobs. The series features nudity and promises to feature lesbian sex.

After watching three episodes (no X-rated sex), the break-out stars are special effects artist Whitney, a Rasta-haired chick huntress (2nd from left), who’s never met a woman she didn’t want to have sex with and Mikey (extreme right), a tough, high-powered fashionista who runs most of the runway shows during LA’s fashion week and speaks her mind!

I can’t wait for the ladies to discuss “Lesbian Bed Death.”

I don’t like engaged couple Nikki and Jill, who are planning their wedding. Please dump them in Season 2.

Tennis great Martina Navratilova has settled with her ex-lover Toni Layton for an estimated $3 million—following a bitter legal battle in which Layton threatened to reveal the tennis legend’s secrets.

Layton had threatened to air their dirty linen in public after claiming Navratilova, now 53, dumped her in January 2008 and tried to make her sign an agreement that meant she would walk away with only $200,000.

“There are a lot of skeletons in Martina’s closet. It is more like a storage facility full of them, and I know them all,” Layton told Page Six after the split.

In 1991, Navratilova split with Judy Nelson after eight years and paid a rumored $3.5 million. Nelson then wrote two books about the tennis star, who’s now dating former Miss Universe Julia Lemigova, 36 (pictured with Navratilova). This time around at the rodeo, Navratilova insisted on a confidentiality agreement with Layton.

In 2005 Lemigova’s boyfriend and lover Edouard Stern was killed by his mistress in a hotel room while dressed in a head-to-toe latex bodysuit and with a dildo in his backside. He was shot four times in the head.

Showtime courts gay viewers and that is a very good thing! Showtime’s “Pride—Gay and Lesbian Comedy Slam,” hosted by comedy writer Bruce Vilanch (he has a great line about Cher’s numerous faces!), premiered on June 2 and it was fabulous. Especially hysterical were Poppy Champlin and Sandra Valls (pictured).

How to Keep a Mistress Very, Very Happy. New York Post’s Page Six had a profile on vulgar, extravagant couture-spending Daphne Guinness, 42-year-old brewery heiress and ex-wife of shipping heir Spyros Niarchos. She is also the mistress to one of the world’s most famous intellectuals, sexy French philosopher Bernard-Henri Levy (known as B.H.L), who has been married to actress and singer Arielle Dombasle since 1993 (Levy, pictured with Dombasle, was profiled in Vanity Fair July 2003).

The French have different romantic morals—I know from direct experience—and clearly B.H.L. knows how to seduce.

He’s Picasso with a pen!

Levy is widely reported to have told Guinness: “You are no longer a person; you have become a concept.”

Damn! What a brilliant seduction! This is how you keep a mistress very, very happy!
