HELSEA HANDLER RETURNS TO CAESARS PALACE
Chelsea HandlerTalk show host, author and stand-up comedian Chelsea Handler will return to The Colosseum at Caesars Palace on Saturday, Sept. 4 with her “Chelsea Chelsea Bang Bang” show presented by Belvedere Vodka. Joining her will be Brad Wollack, a writer and producer for Handler’s “Chelsea Lately” and also an Emmy-nominated television writer, producer and comedian. Ticket prices are $49.50, $59.50, $69.50, and $99.50, call 800-745-3000.

Along with national television appearances, Handler is best known for her own E! Entertainment show “Chelsea Lately,” which airs week nights at 11 p.m. and has been picked up through 2012. The daily program offers a tongue-in-cheek look at hot topics of the day.

A three-time published author, Handler’s latest book, “Chelsea Chelsea Bang Bang” hit stores in March 2010.

ORLEANS ARENA WILL HOST COYOTE COUNTRYFEST
For the second year, the Orleans Arena will host 102.7 Coyote CountryFest on Saturday, Aug. 14 at 6 p.m. Performers will include country music recording artists Blake Shelton, Uncle Kracker, Jaron and the Long Road to Love, The Band Perry, Matt Kennon and Jerrod Niemann. HASH HOUSE A GO GO PLANS THIRD VEGAS LOCATION AT M RESORT
Hash House A Go Go will open its third Las Vegas location inside the Four-Star boutique M Resort in early October 2010. Known for over-sized food Sage Fried Chicken and Wafflesportions, Hash House will replace the resort’s Red Cup Café, which closed on July 12 for remodeling. Meanwhile, guests are being offered breakfast in the Studio B Buffet.

Hash House A Go Go’s concept of twisted farm food has become a success throughout the city. An example signature dish is Sage Fried Chicken, stacked with bacon waffles, hot maple caramel reduction and crowned with fried leeks. Since opening in Las Vegas in 2005, the restaurant has been featured on The Food Network’s “Rachel Ray’s Vacation,” the Travel Channel’s “Man v. Food,” the Fine Living Network’s “Martha Stewart,” NBC’s “Dr. Phil” and ABC’s “What Would You Do?” The first Hash House opened in San Diego in 2000.

BOB SAGET BRINGS HUMOR TO THE ORLEANS SHOWROOM
Comedian Bob Saget, recognized from his long-running ABC series’ “Full House” and “America’s Funniest Home Videos,” will appear at The Orleans Showroom Aug. 14 and 15, at 8 p.m. Tickets start from $39.95, call 702-365-7075.

Comedian Bob SagetSaget is also well known for his adult-themed brand of comedy, dealing with life as a single dad, dating, divorce and any questions you had about “Full House.” In 2007, Saget filmed the HBO comedy special “Bob Saget: That Ain’t Right.” Later in the year, he wrote, directed, produced and voiced-over the film “Farce of the Penguins.”

From 2006 to 2008, Saget hosted the NBC quiz show “1 vs. 100,” where he ad-libbed his way through the one-hour prime time game. In 2008, he was the subject of a Comedy Central roast and in 2009 he appeared in his own sitcom “Surviving Suburbia.” In addition, Saget has a recurring role in the HBO series “Entourage.”

Saget has appeared on film in “Half Baked,” “Dumb & Dumber” and “The Aristocrats,” among others. In 2007, he appeared in the Tony Award-winning musical comedy “The Drowsy Chaperone.”

SAM’S TOWN LIVE! HOLDS ‘VARIETY TOAST OF THE TOWN’ ON THURSDAY

“Variety Toast of the Town” is produced by Desert Productions, which represents many Las Vegas acts including Vocal Soup (Clint Holmes, Susan Anton, Domenick Allen and Martin Nievera), Shades of Sinatra, The Las Vegas Tenors and Lena Prima. Upcoming bands include: RockDaddy on July 23 and Phoenix on July 30. .

TERRY FATOR DOES SPECIAL SHOW FOR PUBLIC EDUCATION FOUNDATION
Unparalleled ventriloquist Terry Fator has partnered with MGM Resorts International to pay tribute to The Public Education Foundation (PEF) with a special performance of “Terry Fator: Ventriloquism in Concert” on Sunday, Aug. 1 at 7:30 p.m. at The Mirage. MAC KING RELEASES LUNCHBOX-O-MAGIC

ANTE UP FOR AFRICA RAISES MORE THAN $275,000
The fourth annual Ante up for Africa charity poker tournament held at the Rio as part of the 41st Annual World Series of Poker®, raised more than $275,000 to aid the victims of the humanitarian crises in Africa. First place went to professional poker player Phil Gordon, who won a total of $129,086 and donated 100 percent back to the charity. The runner-up of the non-gold bracelet event was actress Shannon Elizabeth.

Ante up for Africa attracted 83 players this year including celebs Don Cheadle, Annie Duke, Matt Damon, Brad Garrett, Montel Williams, David Alan Grier, Evander Holyfield, and Jerome Bettis. The No-Limit Hold ’em poker tournament required an entry fee of $5,000 and all of the in-the-money finishers donated a portion of their winnings to the charity.

SHAGGY TO PERFORM AT THE PALMS
The Palms Pool & Bungalows, in partnership with Cruzan Rum, has announced another live poolside performance in its Cruzan Campfire Concert Series. Reggae and R&B artist Shaggy will perform Thursday, Aug. 12, at 9 p.m. Tickets are $30 and $50 for a VIP ticket that includes a complimentary Cruzan cocktail.

Jamaican-American reggae artist Shaggy emerged in the early ’90s and has proved to be one of the biggest crossover success stories in dancehall reggae. One of Shaggy’s first singles “Oh Carolina,” coupled with the high-profile Maxi Priest duet “One More Chance,” landed him a deal with Virgin Records in the early ’90s.

CHUCK NEGRON HEADLINES AT THE CANNERY
Chuck NegronChuck Negron former lead singer of Three Dog Night and Blood, Sweat & Tears will entertain in The Club at Cannery in North Las Vegas on Saturday, Aug. 7 at 8 p.m. The performance will include hit songs from the beloved discography of both legendary bands. CASABLANCA HOLDS ELVIS ROCKS MESQUITE EVENT
Mesquite, NV, located 75 miles from Las Vegas on the Utah border, will hold an Elvis Rocks Mesquite event at the CasaBlanca, Aug. 5–8. The event will feature welcome happy hour, Elvis Sock Hop, bowling, slot tournament, Elvis performance contests, a luau buffet with Elvis tribute artist, and a Gospel Brunch Buffet with Elvis tribute artist.

Las Vegas’ popular and colorful Elvis Presley tribute artist, Pete “Big Elvis” Vallee tied the knot at Bill’s Gamblin’ Hall& Saloon in the lounge where he has been performing regularly for the past eight years. “Big Elvis,” who was recently named to “Time” magazine’s List of Top Ten Elvis Impersonators, married his fiancée, Amanda Lasham at a ceremony that was open to the public. B.B. King’s two shows scheduled for the intimate B.B. King’s Blues Club at The Mirage have been rescheduled to Aug. 16 and 17 at 9:30 p.m. Tickets for dinner-show seating are $75, $100, $125 and $150, call 702-242-KING (5464). The opening act Grant Garland Trio will take the stage at 6 p.m. and again at 8 p.m.

The Jerry Lewis MDA Telethon will be held at the South Point and start at 6 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 5 and continue until 6 p.m. on Sept. 6. Admission is free to the public on a first come-first served basis.

This year’s World Series of Poker at the Rio had 72,192 players participated in bracelet events, up from 60,886 last year, making it the largest WSOP ever in terms of total participants. This year’s Main Event had 7,319 participants, up 12.5 percent from last year, making it the second largest poker tournament in the history of the world.
