Third Annual Carnival of Cuisine
A cavalcade of chefs

D
o you LOVE to eat good food and drink fine beverages? If the answer is yes, then picture this…tastings from more than 20 eateries including five James Beard Award winners in one room. Not just any room, but a huge ballroom in one of the beautiful resorts on the Las Vegas strip. Are you salivating yet? If the answer is yes, you can experience this and more at the third annual food festival, Carnival of Cuisine, to be held at The Venetian and The Palazzo Las Vegas, Saturday, Aug. 7.


From 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. in The Venetian Ballroom, award-winning cuisine available exclusively at restaurants of The Venetian and The Palazzo will be showcased. Participating restaurants include: B&B Ristorante, Bouchon, Café Presse, Canaletto, Carnevino, CUT, Dos Caminos, Enoteca San Marco, FIRST Food & Bar, Grand Lux Café, Lagasse’s Stadium, LAVO, Morels French Steakhouse & Bistro, Pinot Brasserie, Postrio, SUSHISAMBA, Table 10, TAO Asian Bistro, Valentino and ZINE. In addition, Sweet Surrender, The Palazzo’s cupcake and candy shop and home to the $750 cupcake, is a new addition to the line-up this year. Maybe even a famous chef or two will show up to add to the festivities.


The menu is diverse and all-encompassing with every cuisine imaginable including Mexican, Asian, American steakhouse, New American, Italian, bar food, French, desserts and comfort food. Beverages including wine, soda, coffee and tea are offered to compliment what could be a 20-course meal.




Cooking demonstrations and live entertainment will also be featured and ticket holders will have the chance to win prizes including signed cookbooks, restaurant gift certificates and show tickets.


Carnival of Cuisine is presented by Grazie, the loyalty program that rewards guests of The Venetian and The Palazzo. Tickets are on sale now and may be purchased in person at any Venetian or Palazzo box office, by phone at 414-7469 or online at www.venetian.com or www.palazzolasvegas.com. Tickets are priced $50 (all inclusive) and $75 for VIP tickets that include early noon admission and a gift. Guests must be 21 and over to attend Carnival of Cuisine. Grazie members may use Grazie points towards tickets to this event.
